Softpencil Tuesday - Last of the Cupcakes!

So, Tuesday once more and that means it is Softpencil Tuesday.  This is a really sad post as this will be the last Softpencil Tuesday as Elizabeth is closing her digital stamps store.
This week the design team are working with the fabulous Ratiny on a Cupcake which forms part of the new "Cupcakes" release this month.
So this is the image we are showcasing this week and you can buy it here:

And here is my card:
The image is coloured with my Prismacolour pencils and I have added some purple embossing powder to the hearts.
I have placed the image on to one of Susie's fabulous die cuts from Die Cut Dreams (sorry, shop's closed at the moment due to Susie's house move - but don't worry she will be back soon!).  I wrapped a piece of purple glittery thread across two of the corners of the die cut and then added two baby's breath flowers and one of my pins purchased at Bunny Zoe's Crafts.
Finally, I have added one of Lynne's fabby digital sentiments from Sentiments 4 You which you can find here.  The background paper is from a Papermania Creative Tones pad called Amethyst Infusion.
Remember all three of the new releases will be available at Elizabeth's shop until the end of July and they are all super value for money.
As I said at the beginning sadly this is the last digital release that Elizabeth will be doing as she is closing the digital stamp side of her business.  This is due partly because she would like more family time and partly to the fact that Elizabeth has been having problems with a Copyright and Terms of Use infringement by some unscrupulous people.  I for one can say that I will miss these beautiful cute images so if you want to get them while you still can why not head on over to the Softpencil Store and pick up a bargain.
Remember too if you want more of her wonderful creations you can buy all sorts of fabulous goodies at the Softpencil Studios so please stop by and pay a visit.
Elizabeth I would just like to wish you every success in all that you do and I really do hope that our paths cross again in the future.  I shall miss you and your lovely creations.

Here is the card I made for this challenge:
I have used images and DP from the Summer Garden folder on the Shoes in Bloom CD which you can buy here.  All the embellishments are from my stash.
The flourishes are made from a Marianne creatables die which I have glued and covered in glamour dust.
Please remember to stop by the rest of the Design Team and see their fabulous creations (links on the DT tab at the top of this page).  They have all worked really hard to offer you some inspiration, so please remember to leave them some love if you pay a visit.

MW Reminder - Tilda on Anything but a Card!

Hello peeps,
Well I just popped in to remind you that you have about a week left to submit your entries for our latest challenge at Totally Tilda.
Don't forget the challenge this time is:
TILDA ON ANYTHING BUT A CARD!
I was dreading this challenge coming up as I really struggle with these sorts of challenges but I thought - NO! give it a go - it is a challenge after all!
I've already shown you a sneaky peek last week so now it's time to show the whole thing.
So here you go then, my project for this challenge:
Now I was out shopping with hubby and I spotted these little wooden boxes and I thought, now there's a good idea for the Anything but a card challenge!! PING!!
So, I used some papers from my Papermania Signature Regency pack to cover the box and then added some lace around the middle and top of the sides.  I used a border punch and added cream coloured paper at the bottom and then added a piece of pink ribbon on top of that and added a matching bow at the front.

I added a pink large rose at the front side and small pink flowers on all the other sides.
Lastly I put a piece of the border punched paper across the top of the box on which I sat the Butterfly Jeans Tilda which is coloured with my Prismacolour pencils.  Lastly I added two dark pink roses and some flat backed pink pearls to the top of the box as a finishing touch.

And here is my card:
The image is coloured with my Prismacolour pencils and I have added some glamour dust to her wings to give it a bit of sparkle.  The lime ribbon is from Crafty Ribbons.
I think you can just about see it in this piccy.  I have placed the image on to one of Susie's fabulous die cuts from Die Cut Dreams (sorry, shop's closed at the moment due to Susie's house move - but don't worry she will be back soon!) The doily border is from Linda at the Funkie Junkie, it was white and I have sprayed it with Lemon Zest Glitter Mist.  I have also sprayed two white flowers with the same Glimmer Mist and added two of my pins purchased at Bunny Zoe's Crafts together with a pipe cleaner which I have curled.
Finally, I have added one of Lynne's fabby digital sentiments from Sentiments 4 You which you can find here
Remember all three of the new releases will be available at Elizabeth's shop until the end of July and they are all super value for money.
As I have said previously, sadly this is the last digital release that Elizabeth will be doing as she is closing the digital stamp side of her business.

Still time to be "In the garden"

Hello peeps,
Well what a rubbish few days I have had.  First the car failed the MOT.  Then I had to spend mega bucks putting it right.  Then I had to tax it.  Then my internet went down, then it was back.  Then the radiator in the lounge wasn't getting hot, hmm, still a work in progress I think.  Then the shower went wrong.  Then my phone line went down, and I lost my internet again, and eventually it's now back up and running.  I tell you these things are supposed to happen in threes not thirty threes!! LOL
Anyhoo, back to the blog - at last!
This is just a little reminder to let you all know that you still have just under two weeks to enter the current challenge over at By The Cute and Girly, where I am one of this month's Guest Designers.
This is the second project I made for this month's challenge:
I have used a beautiful Sarah Kay stamp and Prima papers from a pad called Botanical.
I added three of those gorgeous Prima flowers from Bunny Zoe's Crafts and some flat backed gems from my stash.
The ribbon is from my stash and that gorgeous pin is from Linda's (The Funkie Junkie) Etsy shop here.  Do hop over and take a look.  I only nipped in for a quick look and came away having spent quite a bit!!  Linda does alot of vintage and antique bits and bobs and some lovely lace.  I'm sure you'll all find something that you just HAVE to have!!
The image is coloured with my Prismacolour pencils and has been placed on one of those fabulous die cuts from Susie at Die Cut Dreams.
Just as a quick reminder, here is the first project I made which I called "Kai in the Garden"
Well, that's it folks.  My two projects for my Guest Designer spot at By The Cute and Girly.  Thanks Lora for asking me - it was truly an honour.  There have been alot of fabulous entries already and I am quite sure there will be a few more yet - so what ya waiting for???
Happy Crafting peeps.

Paper Sundaes - Girly Girl

As the title of my post says, sadly this is the last digital release that Elizabeth will be doing as she is closing the digital stamp side of her business.
