Midway Reminder - Bingo at Totally Tilda!

Hello peeps,
Well I just popped in to remind you that you have about a week left to submit your entries for our latest challenge at Totally Tilda.
Don't forget the challenge this time is:
BINGO GRID
********************
We are sponsored for this challenge by the lovely Ali at:
**************
Here's the card I made for the midway reminder:
As you can hopefully see I have used the bottom line for this one, flowers, charms and twine.
The image is stamped directly onto one of Susie's fabulous die cuts and coloured with my Copics.  The shading behind Tilda is done with Distress Inks.
The ribbon is from Crafty Ribbons as is the button and the flowers are all from Wild Orchid crafts and my stash.
The cute little butterfly charm is from my stash.
The sentiment is a die cut one I have had in my stash for a while and I have inked it with Distress Ink using a direct to card technique.  It's great actually because it only inks the white bit of the card and the silver actually stays silver!
*************
So there you have it folks, my midway reminder for our latest challenge at Totally Tilda.
I do hope you find the time to join in and if you need a bit more inspiration then why not pop along to the Totally Tilda challenge blog and have a look at what the rest of the team have produced for your delictation!

I just had to have.......

.......Craft Artist 2!
Oh my word, I need so much time to play with this new edition of the Craft Artist programme.  It does so much more than just layouts!!  Well, to be fair so did Craft Artist but this does even more!
So to try it out for the first time I decided to use some photos from when Amie and her Boyfriend went to Tunisia.  They had some lovely photos taken and I thought I would try and enhance them even more.
So here is my layout:
I have added digital ric-rac ribbon to the background and a ribbon bow to the edge of the main photo.
I'm really pleased with how this turned out and can't wait until I get a chance to play some more.
I am entering this in to the new challenge at Digitally Sweet where the theme is Anything Goes with Ribbon.
I am also entering it into the challenge at:

A little bit of ribbon inspiration.

Hi folks.
Just popped in to show you a little gift box I have altered.
This started life as a plain balsa wood box which I have painted with cream Acrylic Paint.
Then I have gone to town with Crafty Ribbons new and Exclusive Christmas Ribbons to decorate it.
So, here's the box:
The only ribbon that isn't new is that "flower" on the top of the box.  This is some that I have had in my stash for ages, but again is from Crafty Ribbons.
So on the top of the box I added a piece of decorative backing paper and then added a small PATP piece of cream card on top.  Then I added my ribbon flower together with some pearl stems and ivory mulberry roses with some gold glitter.
I've taken the little tag off the box to show you up close.  This is one of the new Baby's First Christmas ribbons which you can find here.  I have added some brown ric-rac ribbon to the tag too.  This is just a piece of the larger ribbon stuck to card and then cut in a tag shape.
Here's a piccy of the box without the tag on it so you can see the PATP.
And this is a side view of the box so that you can see the two ribbons I have used around the edges.
The bottom one is from the new and Exclusive Little Christmas Ribbon and the top one is from the new Vintage Christmas Ribbon.
So, I hope you like my little box folks.
Remember, there is always a little extra Ribbon Inspiration on the Crafty Ribbons Pure Inspiration blog each and every day (well almost! LOL)
Tata for now!!

Midway Reminder - Totally Tilda

Hello peeps,
Well I just popped in to remind you that you have about a week left to submit your entries for our latest challenge at Totally Tilda.
Don't forget the challenge this time is:
AUTUMN TILDA
********************
Here's the card I made for the midway reminder:
I followed an old CLP sketch for this card and I'm really pleased with how it turned out.
Tilda is coloured with my Copics and Flexmarkers and the background on the nestabilitie shape is done with distress inks.  It's actually a bit darker than I wanted - so more practice I think!!
Those gorgeous autumnal coloured flowers are from Wild Orchid and the pin is from Bunny Zoe's Crafts.
The lace across the middle is some I have had in my stash for a while now and came from an ex TT teamie Cor from Canada, thanks hun.

Incidentally, don't forget that our sponsor this time is the lovely Nikki from
and the prize is

So, what are you waiting for.  Get creating those Autumnal cards and get it entered into our current challenge over at the Totally Tilda Blog!

Vintage Crafty Ribbons Card

Happy Thursday morning to you lovely peeps!
Time once again for a new challenge at Crafty Ribbons.
Thanks for all your fabulous creations on our last challenge, you really are a crafty lot aren't you?
Please stop by the Crafty Ribbons Challenge blog and see if you were one of our handpicked top 3 or our Random Winner!
So, onto our new challenge.
This time the challenge is hosted by the lovely Maja (Cebelica) and is:
VINTAGE
Now I'm not a huge fan of vintage - it just never seems to look right no matter what I do but you have to give it your best shot don't you?  LOL

So here is my project for this challenge:
Right, so the image is from an Ooh La La CD called Passion for Fashion and you can find that here!
I thought that because the image was so beautiful I wouldn't do too much to detract from it so just added a piece of brown seam binding ribbon behind it to make it look like a painting hanging on the wall and two pieces of very narrow grosgrain brown ribbon down each side of the card.
The Happy Birthday sentiment is from a freebie pack of stamps with one of the cardmaking magazines.
So there you have it peeps, my vintage card for Crafty Ribbons.
And just look at the gorgeous ribbony prize on offer this time:
vintage rose ribbon
So if you want to be in with a chance of winning these gorgeous ribbons, get on over to the Crafty Ribbons Challenge blog and get your entry in!

New Neon Markers!!

Well, hello all.
You will never guess???
No, go on, try!!
Do you give in???
Well let me tell you.
I was sitting at home the other day when I heard our postman struggling to get a parcel through the door.  Now, that in itself was quite strange because we don't have a letterbox!  No, sorry that's a fib, of course we have a letterbox - just couldn't help that little joke!!
Well, after he had struggled for about 10 minutes (it did honestly seem that long!) my little parcel dropped to the floor.  Now, I wasn't expecting any parcels so I was a bit surprised.
Wow, when I opened it there was a brand new set of the new Neon Twin Tipped Markers from Letraset.
Could I tell everyone about them on my blog??
Are you kidding me - of course I can, what an honour to be asked.
So what am I rambling on about you ask?
These!
So, what can I tell you?  There are six markers in the pack and these are the colours:
From the top: Volt Blue, Glowing Green, Luminous Yellow, Radiant Orange, Electric Pink and Spark Red.

Now if you look at the names, let me tell you they do truly reflect the colours on paper/card.
So, how best to tell you what I think of them?
Well, I thought I would make a card and just use the neon markers to colour it with.
Well, I nearly did it - I had to use ordinary promarkers/flexmarkers for the hair and skin (oh and the cupcake icing) but the rest is Neon Markers.
So here's the card then:
Now I just thought that this little lady was a perfect image to use such fabulous radiant colours on.  It is of course from Saturated Canary and is called "Partyhardy" - what a fabulous name!
Here is a little close up of just the image:
Now remember that these pens are brand new, straight out of the box.
I say that because, well I didn't!!  So you will see in places (if you look hard) that the card has lifted a little.  The nibs on these pens are quite hard compared to the Promarkers and are very very wet.  So once I got used to them I used very very light strokes and the coverage was much better.  The shading is a bit harder with these as because they are so wet the card started to lift before I got the shading how I wanted it.  I did mess up on her dress a little but that's where I forgot they were new pens! DOH!!
I think on the whole I would use them but not nearly as much as my Promarkers and Flexmarkers.  They definitely have their place in my crafting but probably for Childrens cards and really quirky comical cards because I think they warrant bright neon colours.
So if you want more information on these and other fabulous products that Letraset have on offer throughout the month of September just click on the link in my sidebar.
Keep your eye on my sidebar for more links throughout September as there are quite a few fabulous offers on.  Now you wouldn't want to miss out..... would you???
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Seriously, it was great fun and I will miss you all but only as far as blogland because I will still be along to stalk you!!
*******************
So what are we going to tempt you with this time??
Well the new challenge is:
AUTUMN TILDA
So here is the card I made for the new challenge:
Tilda is coloured with my Copics and the background is done using Distress Inks. (Thanks for the tip Nana! MWAH!) The PATP is done in Kraft card.
The papers are from a Papermania capsule collection called Sunshine - I think!
I have cut the image out with my new Nestabilities - Floral Ovals.
I have used some small alphabet stamps for the letters and used a 1" circle punch to punch them out.
The leaves are a Marianne Design die I think and my flowers are from Wild Orchid
And last but not least, that gorgeous ribbon is from, of course, Crafty Ribbons
Well folks, there you go, my Autumn Tilda card.
Remember to stop by the Challenge blog and meet our new DT too.
