An apple a day..........

Hi all
Well another fortnight flies by and it is time once again for another new challenge at Totally Tilda and Friends.
This fortnight the theme is:
FRUIT AND/OR CHOCOLATE
So you can use the fruit or chocolate on your image on the papers or by using charms or die cuts, whatever you have that fits the theme.
Remember though - NO DIGI IMAGES
So our sponsor for this challenge is:

http://www.simonsaysstamp.com/servlet/StoreFront

Simon Says Stamp

And here is my creation for the challenge:
I have used Apple Pip from Sugar Nellie, love these image. :-)
Coloured with my Spectrum Noir Pencils this time.
The leafy paper is from the Bonnets and Bow Ties Pad from Nitwits at Lili of the Valley.
The fancy doily shape is from my stash, the two flourishes were cut on my Silhouette and that gorgeous lace flower and the lace across the middle of the card (look hard, it is there!!) were from a giveaway win over on Facebook - oodles of lacy goodies!!
The sentiment is made with a Clarity Stamp and the other two flowers are from my stash.
So there you go peeps, hope to see a few more of you joining in this fortnight.  I think we scared you all with the Tea/Coffee theme so I hope you enjoy this one a bit more.
Can't wait to see what you all come up with.

Three wins in one week!!

Hello lovelies
Just had to pop in and let you know what a fabulous week I just had.
First off I found out that I had won the challenge over on the Aurora Wings Facebook page.
When you win your entry is picked purely by the artist - namely Mitzi Sato-Wiuff - and along with the Artist's Choice award came $20 of digital images from Mitzi's etsy store and a fabulous badge for my blog - see it there in the sidebar???
Did a happy dance when I found that out I can tell you.
And talking of happy dances, I would soon be doing another.
Visible Images had a few little comps on their Facebook page for achieving 3000 page likes.
I entered a few but you never expect to win these things do you?
Well, guess what?  I did!!
I named the Visible Images band and their first single,
I called the band "The Images" and their first single was "Psychadellica"
Won this fabulous Visible Images stamp for that.
Visible Image INKognito Sing Singer Female stamps
And then just to top off my week perfectly I entered Brenda Exeter's first ever giveaway on her Facebook page.  Brenda sells lace and embellishments, they truly are heavenly.
So you just added your name and they gave you a number.
Then Piggy admin did a draw and...........
Out came number 56!!  Eeeeeeeek That's me!!!
Look at what I won!
Isn't it fabulous???
There is so much, I just have to keep having another look! Lol
So, I hope you all have a fabulous week and thanks for stopping by.

Time for Tea (or coffee)!

Hello lovelies
Well it is time for another challenge over at Totally Tilda and Friends.
This time the challenge is:
TEA OR COFFEE
We want to see your creations feature either Tea or Coffee somewhere.  It doesn't have to be on the image, it can be a charm, on a ribbon, on your backing paper but it must relate somehow to Tea or Coffee.
Our lovely sponsor this time is:
gif maker

And the Prize is;
So here is the card I made for this challenge:
Now this card was cased from the Clarity Website Gallery and the lovely Elaine Milner's card.
Isn't Elaine's card gorgeous? If anyone knows how I can link to Elaine could you let me know please. Thanks.
So I used the Victorian Tea Set Stamps and stamped them in Seedless Preserve Distress Ink for my card and added ribbon and card to match.
I masked off a band of card and stamped most of the images in second generation ink and the main teapot image in first generation ink to make it stand out.
I then brushed the same shade of distress ink around the edges of the band.
Then I drew a line down each side with my Flexmarker in Plum
I cut a tag shape out of white card and backed it onto some contrasting coloured card.
Then I stamped the verse and the teacup in first generation ink.
Using my Clarity Stencil brushes I brushed the same distress ink around the edge of the tag.
Added a satin ribbon in a matching shade to the tag and voila!
Thank you Elaine for the inspiration and I hope I did your card justice.

Little Daisy Elf

Hi all,
Just popping in to show you a non-DT card for a change.
The lovely Mitzi Sato-Wuiff over at Aurora Wings has just celebrated reaching 2,250 followers on the Facebook page and gave us all a gorgeous freebie image to use.
The image is called Daisy Elf and you can now buy her in Mitzi's Etsy shop here.
Digital Stamp - Daisy Elf - Big Eye Fairy with Floral Wreath Sitting on Daisy - Fantasy Line Art for Cards & Crafts by Mitzi Sato-Wiuff
Pretty isn't she?
So here is the card I made using this gorgeous image.
The image is coloured with my Spectrum Noir pencils.  I think I am slowly getting the hang of the blending now. I have used 20 different colours on this card - yes 20!! Lol
There are 5 on the Daisy alone!!
The clouds are done using a Clarity mask - must be my most used Mask I think! Lol
I used 3 colours on those two tiny butterflies.  All the gorgeous flowers are from my stash and mainly purchased from Wild Orchid Crafts.
The gorgeous Grace stamp is from one of the clever Word Chains at Clarity Stamp.  It doesn't represent a name rather the natural Grace and Beauty of this gorgeous image.
The background papers are from a pad called Petal Fresh by Nitwits at Lili of the Valley

I am really pleased with how this turned out and I hope you like it too.

Now I'm Crafting with an Attitude!!

Hahahaha! No I don't mean I'm stroppy when I am crafting, lol.
Not at all.  Let me explain.
You will remember me saying that Through the Purple Haze challenges were closing down don't you, and then this week I told you that we have managed to keep it going?
Well, because I thought it was closing I decided to apply for another DT place.
So as I entered a challenge I noticed they were having a DT call, so thought "Why not?" - sounds like fun and it is a monthly challenge so that was brilliant.
I applied.............. they accepted!! Woooohoooo.
So I can now tell you that................
And what's more they are a lovely bunch of ladies too!
So without further ado, here are the details of the April Challenge.
The Challenge this month is:
FREESTYLE/FANTASY
And our lovely sponsor for this challenge is:
Buy Sassy Studio Designs
So we had a couple of images to choose from and I went with this one:
Super Mom Sassy
And here is the card I made:
As soon as I saw her I knew what I was going to do with her.
I am really pleased with how it came out too and not colours I would normally go for.
So, the image is coloured with my Copics for a change. Dead chuffed with her hair!
I have Anglicised the label at the top and added
at the bottom! I am sure every Mum knows that feeling eh??
So just a case of adding in some flowers, a little air dry clay bow, coloured with Distress Inks, a doily behind the image, the DP is from a Raspberry Road pad at Lili of the Valley called Shabby Shack and, as the saying goes, Bob's Your Uncle!! (I'm sure I don't have an uncle called Bob but hey ho! Lol).  All the flowers are from my stash and I made the ribbon with my MS Air Dry Clay.
So, I look forward to seeing your entries into what is Crafting with an Attitude's second challenge.
Please come along and join in the fun, and why not join the blog whilst you're there.  That way you won't miss anything will you?
