Right on to the new challenge.
The theme for this fortnight's challenge is:
CAS
Clean & Simple!
This time we are lucky to be sponsored by:
Prize will either be:
a Ribbon Kit
or
a £10 voucher for the store.
So here we go then, here is the card I made for this challenge:
I used Bee Tilda and coloured her with Distress Markers and Pencils.

I also added some glamour dust to her wings.
I used a Clarity Stamp for the sentiment which is one of a set of Happy Sentiment Remountables which you can find here.
The Honeycomb background is a Doobadoo stencil and I thought it went with this stamp perfectly.
I am so looking forward to seeing all your CAS cards.

Less is More - Feathers

Hi all,
Just popping in to show you a quick card I made for the Less is More challenge which is to use three of something on your card and leave comments on at least three other entries.
I haven't entered the Less is More challenge for ages now and I thought it was about time I gave it another go.
So here you go then:
I have used three gorgeous brown feathers on my card which I bought from That Craft Place on FB, lovely shop but dangerous place to visit - I always come away penniless!! lol.
Then I added my sentiment which is from Barbara at Clarity Stamp.
I did a bit of the old shadow stamping here but I think I was a little bit out at the bottom as you can't see much of a shadow on the wording - hey ho practice makes perfect eh??
Then I added a border using one of my Promarkers and a thin nib, a gem at the bottom of the feathers and voila!!
Hope you like it, please let me know what you think - all comments gratefully received.

The gorgeous pin is from my very good but distant friend Mandy!! Still here hunni!! Lol.

Anything Goes with Ribbon

Hello lovelies,
Well it is the turn of the Buttons Team to host the challenge this week.
Our theme this week is
ANYTHING GOES WITH RIBBON
So that means you can go wild and do whatever takes your fancy.
So long as there is some ribbon on there somewhere the world, as they say, is your oyster.
So here is my offering for this week:
I made this for a colleague at work for her (bet you can't guess???) 50th Birthday!! Lol
I love the Sweet Pea images and have so many that I have never used I am determined to use them more this year.
The image is coloured with my Polychromo Pencils and I have added Glamour Dust to her tail.
I'm really please with how this turned out and I think it looks so feminine and girly.
The background is done using the Gelli Plate.  God I love that thing - something else I am determined to use more of this year.
The gorgeous 35mm satin ribbon is of course from Crafty Ribbons HERE
I added the 50 by using the Shape stamps and numbers set from Clarity Stamps
The pearl stems and flowers are all from Wild Orchid Crafts
The little tags are from a set of 100 tags which I purchased from Clarity Stamps.
So there you go, I do hope she likes it because I love it.
Can't wait to see all your gorgeous creations.

Beaded Poppies

Hi folks,
Blimey two posts in one day - must be sickening for something! Lol
Anyways, I wanted to pop in and show you my entry for the current Clarity challenge which is Flower Power.
I have been attending the Clarity Classes run by the lovely Maria Simms and I have to say she inspires me with the techniques she teaches us.
So, here is one such technique we covered recently.
I have used the Poppy Stencil from Clarity and sponged my inks through it.
Then I used my Cosmic Shimmer Clear Texture paste and applied that through the stencil.
Then I added Micro beads to the paste whilst still wet.
They give such a lovely glittery finish and I am really pleased with this as it is only the second time I have used them.
Then I decided that it looked a bit sparse so using the remountable Journalling set of stamps from Clarity and added some stamping around the edge on top of the dusting of colour I gave the edges with my stencilling brush.
So there you go, my beaded poppies.  Can't wait for my next class Maria Simms.

Not so square!!

So here is my creation for this challenge:
I cut out the shape using my Silhouette Cameo and also used one of my die cut toppers from my good friend Susie!
Image is coloured with my polychromo pencils and I have used a couple of those little stamen thingies to put in her hair as bobbles as it was holly on the image.
All around the scallop edge I added some punched butterflies and also some ontop of the two little MS clay flowers.
The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the little butterfly peg was from my local Hobbycraft store.
So there you go peeps, my Non Square card. Quite simple really but I quite like it.
What do you think??

Easter egging it!!

Hello all,
Just popping by to let you know that you still have about a week to enter the current challenge over at Totally Tilda.

The theme this time is:
EASTER
(You must feature an egg on there somewhere, on the image, on the papers, actual eggs whatever you like really)

And our fabulous sponsor is:

Simon Says Stamp
And the prize is:

(Please Note that all shipping, handling and tax fees are the winner's responsibility.)

So here is what I have come up with
I thought I'd do a little Easter scene this time.
Quite a bit of masking for this one then but I'm really pleased with the finished article.
What do you think??
I have used my Polychromo pencils on all the images. I do think they have some lovely colours.
The gorgeous ribbon with those vintage butterflies on is of course from Crafty Ribbons and is one of several new and beautiful ribbons.  You really should pop in and have a look at all the new stuff they have in, you won't be disappointed - slightly broke maybe but it's only money! Lol
The clouds are done using my Clarity Mask, love using this.
And that fabulous little row of yummy easter eggs is cut with my Silhouette Cameo.
I love how they just finish off the card - almost look good enough to eat eh??
Right then folks, I do hope you find the time to join in with this challenge, there don't seem to be too many entries as yet so come on, what you waiting for?
Just think of the fabulous goodies you could get with that lovely Simon Says prize!!

Right on to the new challenge.
The theme for this fortnight's challenge is:
EASTER
(You must feature an egg on your card somewhere, if there are eggs on the image that will count too!)
This time we are lucky to be sponsored by:

Simon Says Stamp

(Please Note that all shipping, handling and tax fees are the winner's responsibility.)

So here is my creation for this challenge:
I used Tilda hiding Easter Egg for my card this time.
I used my Copics to colour the image.
The little bunny rabbits are Clarity Stamps as is the tree on the left hand side of the card.
The clouds are done with a Clarity Stamp Mask using Cloudy Blue and Mountain Rose Adirondack pads.  The tree is stamped in Fern Green.
The sentiment is one I had from my good friend Lynne when she was doing Sentiments 4 You, and I thought it fitted this card perfectly.
The flowers are all from Wild Orchid and the little eggs are from That Craft Place on FB.  I actually bought them last year and didn't use them all.
The fabulous bunny ribbon is one of a new line at Crafty Ribbons. Fab aren't they??
So there you go then, that's my Easter Card.
I can't wait to see what you all come up with.
