Drive Time at Crafty Ribbons

Hello lovelies,
Well it is the turn of the Buttons Team to host the challenge this week.
And this week the theme is
DRIVE TIME
So long as your creation fulfils the challenge you can make whatever you like, cards, layouts, altered items, take your pick and have fun.
So here is my offering for this week:
The image is one from Bugaboo called Monster Truck which you can find here.
I have coloured the image with my Polychromo pencils.
The brilliant sentiment is one I had from the lovely Joni at Inktegrity.
The brilliant racing car ribbon is of course from Crafty Ribbons and you can find that here and what's more it is EXCLUSIVE to Crafty Ribbons.

I am looking forward to seeing your lovely creations.

Angie Jam!

Hello lovelies.
Well I am just popping in to show you my latest card.
I am enjoying using some of the digi images that I have had for a while and also some new ones that I just had to have - well you know how it is don't you?? lol.
So I have made a card using the digi image Angie Jam which you can find in the SC store.
This was a custom made digi for one of the members of the Saturated Canary group over on Facebook.
If you fancy joining the group just click on the link and ask to join.
Not only will you be joining a like minded bunch of crafters you will also have a chance to grab a lovely freebie image from Krista.
What is it??  Well you'll just have to go join and find out won't you?? Lol.
You won't be disappointed though, trust me.
So to my card:
The image is coloured with Copics.
The papers are all from the Raspberry Road collection at LOTV and this pad is called Shabby Shack
The gorgeous butterflies are from a fabulous shop on Etsy called Karla's Kreative Korner. She has some gorgeous stuff - you really should go take a peek, the two little ones are done with my MS Butterfly punch.
The other flowers and pearl stems are all from Wild Orchid Crafts
And finally the little sentiment is from a lady on Ebay - it was part of a little freebie she sent me for buying some things from her.
So there you go then.  I hope you like it.

A Pink Princess and a sad farewell.

Hello lovely peeps.
How are we all this fine and lovely Sunday Morning??
I am happy and sad all at the same time today.
Happy because I am getting ready to go to the Cotswolds for a week's holiday.
It is lovely down there and if the weather is good too - well let's keep the fingers and toes crossed on that one shall we?  Lol.
So it is Sunday and that means a new challenge at Totally Tilda.
And that, my friends brings me to my sad news.
This will be my last post for the Totally Tilda Challenge Blog today.
I have had to make a decision on how best to utilise my "me time" and have come to the conclusion that something just has to give.
My love for Tilda has waned somewhat over the past few months and with little time to craft it has slowly ebbed away completely.
The reason I have chosen this theme to end on is because this challenge is always based around  Princesses as it is our lovely Susie Sugar's birthday round about now and so I thought that would be a fitting challenge to end on - as this year is a very BIG birthday........ no I won't tell you which one.  See if you can work it out!
So to my creation for this, my last challenge at Totally Tilda.
The challenge this time is, as I have said:
PRINCESS TILDA
Our sponsor for this challenge is:
gif maker

And the Prize is;

So here is my project for this challenge:
I decided to make a "book" this time.
I bought the "book" from Cuddly Buddly, they have such an array of items to alter, it really is worth going and having a mooch around.  Their delivery is brilliant too.
So I coloured Tilda Catching Stars with my watercolour pencils and added a bit of silver embossing powder to her star wand and the little stars in her hand.
The paper I have used on the book is from Magnolia and was out at about the same time as the Wizarding Tilda image (not sure if that's what she's called though).
The other paper I have used is from the Always and Forever paper pad by Nitwits at Lili of the Valley.
I love these paper pads, they are such good quality.
I backed this paper onto some burgundy card and added it to the front of the book.
Then I added some lovely flowers and a curly stamen all from Wild Orchid Crafts and a die cut leaf shape which I bought from Ebay.
I added a die cut banner across the top to finish it off.
I'm quite pleased with how this has turned out and I hope that Susie liked it as much as I enjoyed making it.
So my friends, I bid you farewell from Totally Tilda but will be back here very soon with a blog post just for fun and of course posting for Crafty Ribbons.
Tara!!!!

Crafty Ribbons - Anything Goes with Ribbon

Hello lovelies,
Well it is the turn of the Buttons Team to host the challenge this week.
Our theme this week is
ANYTHING GOES WITH RIBBON
So that means you can go wild and do whatever takes your fancy.
So long as there is some ribbon on there somewhere the world, as they say, is your oyster.
So here is my offering for this week:
So my image is from the lovely Krista at Saturated Canary.
If you don't already know SC have a Facebook page and this is a freebie for anyone who joins.
So if you want to use this gorgeous image, which incidentally was a dream to colour, then pop along to the SC facebook page and request to join.
I have used my Inktense watercolour pencils to colour the image and used some Clarity masks to do the sea, sand and sky.  I'm quite pleased with the result too - happy days!!
I wanted to add a bit of bling so went with this gorgeous gem string.
Now I am sure that I had this from Crafty Ribbons but I have had it so long I can't quite remember.
All the gorgeous flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts
The cute little bird in the corner is a Clarity Stamp available as part of a set here.
If you look behind the image you will see some fabulous Pirate Ribbon called Pirate Crew which is available EXCLUSIVELY from Crafty Ribbons. (You can probably see it better in the top pic)

So I can't wait to see your fabulous creations, you never cease to amaze us with your creativity.
Have fun.
