Christmas Advent - Day 21

Hi all.
Well, not long now before Santa calls eh??
Today in our Christmas Advent Event we are showcasing
CRAFTY INDIVIDUALS
Crafty Individuals is an exciting web based venture into the creative world of craft and altered art products for long term friends and business partners, Jean Hardy and Malcolm Noble. Jean is a practising artist, avid crafter, and teacher, and Malcolm is a professional photographer, and we live and work in the North East of England. Both of us are fully involved in the design and manufacture of the Crafty Individuals unique brand of popular and top quality art rubber stamps, cutting dies, masks/stencils, and paper craft products.

In the beginning we concentrated on creating a beautiful, top quality, range of unique art rubber stamps, inspired by all things vintage but still with a contemporary feel, and with something to appeal to everyone. Our classic Individual range of stamps features fine and detailed collage style focal designs, and the newer Elements sets of rubber stamps feature themed sets of images to enable you to build your own background designs and collaged art and craft projects. Since then we have added lovely, professionally printed, books of craft papers, image sheets, and printed tags to the range, more recently followed by adorable masks/stencils, and top quality thin metal cutting dies. We also have a carefully chosen range of other essential ‘Must Have’ products on our website to complement your crafting experience.

Here is my project for today:
These are two of three stamps I have recently purchased from Crafty Individuals.
I have gone with a variation on a theme here.
These cards are for a commission order and were extremely well received.
This is one of the stamps and.......
this is the other.   I have used a stencil brush to brush the background of both stamps and used Nitwits at Lili of the Valley on the Kraft one and SU paper on the other.
I'm really pleased with these and I hope you like them too.
Remember to stop by the Inspiration blog and add your name to the Linky.
Plus, leave me a comment to be in with a chance of winning my Christmas Day candy.
See you tomorrow.

Today I have chosen to showcase my Clarity Stamps as these are one of the many products you can find at Pink Tulip.
So here you go then:
I have been watching Barbara Gray on Create and Craft and was inspired by her to make this card.
The sentiment means Happy Christmas in Spanish.
This was one of two Commission cards I had been asked to make and fitted the Advent Event perfectly.
You will see that I have used the remountable shape stamps to pop the letters in.
I have used only one ink pad on this card too and that was the Cranberry Adirondack.
I used my polychromo pencils for the deer but just added some accent colour and then used my blending pencil to spread it out a bit.
I am really pleased with how this turned out.
I was supposed to be going on a Clarity Workshop on 7 December but wasn't very well so missed out.  I was so gutted but am determined to go to the next one Maria Simms!!
Remember to stop by the Inspiration blog and sign up on the Linky to be in with a chance of winning today's prize.
Remember to leave me a comment for my Christmas Day candy too!!
I am going to enter this into the Clarity Challenge which is Scene Building

Tony & Ali

Here is my project for today:
So I bought a Clipboard a while ago, and it has sat in my cupboard...... until today.
I decided to use one of my gorgeous Magnolia papers to cover the board with.
Then I added one of the fabulous Paws print ribbons from Crafty Ribbons and also added one of the saddle stitch grosgrain on the left hand side.
This serves to hold my images in and means I can take my colouring with me wherever I go.

Please leave me a comment to and you could win my Christmas Day candy!

Christmas Advent - Day 18

Welcome to Day 18 of the Christmas Advent Event folks.
Today we are joined by:

joannasheen

Joanna has been involved in the craft world since 1979. She has written over 30 books on cookery, herbs, stencilling, crafts and flowers during the past 20 years and is now best known for her work on TV with her craft CDs, card making and pressed flower craft programmes. She lives in Devon with her husband Richard and youngest daughter Emily - never forgetting their bossy little cocker spaniel called Wellington - Welly for short!
Joanna started building her pressed flower company back in 1979 and soon had a thriving international concern, making sales around the world. She has sold pictures to many of the major stores in London, New York and Tokyo, Australia and other countries in Europe. This thrived until 2006 when Card making finally won and took over all the production and warehouse space at the company, but Joanna's first love will always be flowers in some form or another!
Teaching comes naturally to Joanna, she began her craft school here in the UK some 17 years ago and there is also the Joanna Sheen Flower School based in Osaka and with teachers spread around Japan. Joanna's craft courses are now very limited with other commitments taking so much of her time but, old and welcomed visitors return every year for Joanna's new and innovative teaching.
PRIZE
A selection of craft goodies to include a Joanna Sheen Cd and project book.
Here is my card for today:
I just love Joanna's House-Mouse designs.  I have had these for a while now and just not got round to inking them up.  It is so therapeutic colouring in these images.
So the image is coloured with my Promarkers because I have used the fine nibs on them to colour all the fiddly bits on the leaves and flowers.
A close up of the main image.
And one of the cute little sentiments that comes with the set, which is called Birthdays, Poppy.
That gorgeous Sheer Puff dots ribbon, which is one of my most favourite ribbons, is available of course, at Crafty Ribbons.
So remember to stop by the Inspiration blog and add your name to the Linky to be in with a chance of today's fabulous prize from Joanna Sheen.
Remember to leave me a comment.
Because apart from the fact that I really do appreciate them, you could also win my Christmas Day Candy!
See you tomorrow.

Christmas Advent - Day 17

Rolling on to Day 17 of the Christmas Advent Event.
Today we are joined by:

I have been drawing since a child and studied graphics at College many years ago, I now work as a Medical photographer part time but my love was always drawing. I started cardmaking about 4yrs ago when I bought my daughter a cardmaking kit which we did together, but I’m afraid I got the bug! My daughter preferred scrapbooking. I then started looking online at other blogs and this then became my passion and I loved sharing my cards with likeminded people.
I love stamping and loved finding images, but sometimes I could not find what I wanted so I started to draw myself.
This then has become my second addiction and I have never looked back, I love thinking of new images, and its just fabulous to see others take them and make them into beautiful works of art. Long may it continue!

Prize - $12 Voucher
Here is my card for today.
I was given this cute digi called Angel Anya to work with.
This is just too cute don't ya think??
So I coloured the image with my copics.
I added some glamour dust for a bit of sparkle.
The backing paper is from a Nitwits at Lili of the Valley pad called Frosty Christmas.
The gorgeous spotty ribbon is a Sheer Puff Dots ribbon from Crafty Ribbons and the sentiment is from a Stampfairy Designs set of sentiments from Marianne Designs.
So nip on over to the Inspiration blog and add your name to the linky there to be in with a chance of winning today's fabby prize.
Remember to leave me a comment too to be in with a chance of my Christmas Day Candy.
See you tomorrow.

Anything goes - with an option!

Hello all.
Well it's Sunday again and that means it is time for the new challenge over at Totally Tilda.
Please remember to hop on over to the Totally Tilda challenge blog and have a look to see if you were one of our lucky winners/Top 3.
Remember our winners and top three are chosen by Susie and the Design Team.
No random.org here! So if you won it's because we loved your creation.
************
Right on to the new challenge.
The theme for this fortnight's challenge is:
ANYTHING GOES
WITH AN OPTION TO USE A RECYCLED ITEM
(If you do decide to go for the optional recycling could you please just let us know what it is you've recycled - just saves us guessing that's all! Lol)
This time we are lucky to be sponsored by:
And the prize is:
But wait up folks, what's this my boss lady is telling me????
We have two more sponsors for this challenge??
Quick, pop on over to the Totally Tilda challenge blog and have a look what else you could win  this time around.
**********
So here is my creation for this challenge:
I decided I didn't want to do a Christmas card as such and when I found my item I was going to recycle I just knew which image I wanted to use.
Tilda is coloured with my copics and the foreground is done lightly in Pan Pastels, green and pale brown. They don't really show up on the pic but they are there honestly.
The trees in the background are a Clarity Stamp which is one of my favourites
These dangly bits are from a necklace I bought ages ago.  I loved it as soon as I saw it.  Every time I wore it though all the dangly bits got tangled up and turned themselves upside down.  Drove me mad so I threw it into my jewellery box and there it has stayed until today!! Lol
So there you go folks my creation for our last challenge of the year.

Please remember that the Design Team will be having a little break from commenting on this challenge.  Just to give us all time to recharge our batteries over the Christmas period.
Your entries will still be looked at over the holidays though so keep em coming.
I'd like to thank all the Tilda lovers out there for supporting Totally Tilda and I hope you have enjoyed the challenges and that they have made you think outside the box a bit.
Have a fabulous Christmas all and a Happy Healthy New Year.
