A Just for Challenges card!!!

OMG!
It is soooo long since I made a card purely to enter in to challenges, I can't believe it!
Okay, so I made it for a DT card but got part of it wrong so now I can use it purely to enter into challenges.
So, here is the card in question:
I have used a Mo Manning image called Christmas Fairy Holly - I just love this image.  The only colour on it is her skin and hair for which I used my Flexmarkers.
The dress and wings are just glittered with Glamour Dust.
The sentiment is one that Lynne made at Sentiments 4 You. Unfortunately you can no longer get these digis as Lynne has decided to call time on her Sentiments 4 You. (Maybe one day eh Lynne??)

The ribbon is from Crafty Ribbons and the lace flower I made myself.
The snowflakes are handpunched and then glittered, again with Glamour Dust.  Those little white bows are some I bought from Teri at Delicious Doodles, thanks hun!

So, there you have it, my very white, glittery card for the following challenges:
Prairie Fairy Friday - Things with sparkly wings
DP2 Challenge - Fave Mo Manning card of 2011
Audsentiments - Anything Goes
Bee-Crafty - It's Christmas
By the Cute and Girly - Let it Snow
Charisma Cardz - Anything Goes
Crafts and Me - Bumper Christmas Challenge - Anything Goes

The little thank you sentiment is one of the lovely Lynne's from Sentiments 4 You. I have coloured around the edge of the ticket with one of the new Metallic Markers from Letraset.  They are so gorgeous, you just have to try them.

Thanks for all your fabulous creations on our last challenge, you really are a crafty lot aren't you?
Please stop by the Crafty Ribbons Challenge blog and see if you were one of our handpicked top 3 or our Random Winner!
So, onto our new challenge.
This time the challenge is:

That's right folks, our hosts for this challenge are Tessa and Anke and they have devised a sketch for you to follow.  Remember you can turn it however you like so long as we can still see the sketch.
So, first things first - the prize on offer for this challenge.
This time it will be one of "Bev's Bags"
(contents may vary from the picture).
Bev's Bags are fantastic value and so choc full of ribbony goodness, you won't be disappointed, trust me!
****************
So here is my project for this challenge:
My image is a Sarah Kay stamp - isn't she gorgeous. (Big thanks to a certain friend - you know who you are!!).   She is coloured with promarkers and flexmarkers and I have chalked around the edge of the image in colours to match my theme.

The image is matted onto some Tim Holtz Core dinations card and I have distressed the edges.

All the flowers are from my stash.  The flourish and the doily are both Marianne creatables dies.
The papers I have used are from a papermania pad called Excuisite.

The fabulous Thank You ribbon is one of a new range at Crafty Ribbons and is available here.
I hope you will find the time to join us over the festive season and I will take this opportunity to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and the Happiest of New Year's

Craft Your Passion Challenges - Holiday Havoc Blog Hop

Welcome People from wherever you are!
This is a long, long post, so best grab a cuppa before you start, you could be here for a while!! LOL
I always enjoy being part of a fabulous blog hop and when I saw this one I just had to join in. So here goes then!
*****************
Welcome to Craft Your Passion Challenges "Holiday Havoc 2011" Blog Hop!!

We are very excited about holidays and wanted to add to the chaos and havoc.
What better way to do that, than to have a BLOG HOP!!!

If you have hopped over from Jacqui's blog, then you are in the right place. If you just happened to stop by and would like to join our hop from the beginning, please go to Craft Your Passion Challenges and follow along for a chance to win some AMAZING blog candy along the way and PRIZES at the end.

All Craft Your Passion DT members are going to be playing along in the hop with some very special guest designers.

Each designer along the way is featuring a project that showcases a digital image from at least one of our amazing Blog Hop Sponsors.
What’s more exciting is you can participate too by creating a project and linking it up over at Craft Your Passion Challenges for a chance to win one of several prizes.

But, there’s a twist. Be sure to visit all the stops and leave a comment (we will be checking). Once you have finished the hop, we would like you to create a HOLIDAY project using at least one digital stamp and enter it with our Linky tool.

While you are hopping, be sure to check out the blog candy the designer's have to offer you. You don't want to miss out on any of it!
*****************
So here are the two projects I made:
My first project features an image from one of my most favourite Digital Artists, Jodie at Bugaboo.
This is called Little Penguin Winter bench and you can find it here:
I coloured the image with Prismacolour Pencils and Promarkers.  I had a go at putting some sky in the background, not sure if it worked really though.  The poinsettia is a Marianne Creatables die, I just love this die.  I added some glitter on the embossed lines.
The two sentiment stamps are Kanban stamps and come as part of a Reindeer set, as are the snowflake stamps, and all are stamped and embossed.  The baubles are something I have had in my stash for simply ages.

The fabulous lush velvet ribbon is from, yes you guessed it, Crafty Ribbons and you can see the full range here.
So, that was my first project and here is my second:
The image is from Crafty Sentiments, another of the fabulous sponsors of this Holiday Havoc blog hop.
Once again the lush velvet ribbon is from Crafty Ribbons (see here).  I added a glittered stocking which is a Jolie's boutique sticker and again I've had this for ever!!
I coloured the image with my promarkers and then stamped some snowflakes on to the stocking and covered it with glitter.
The sentiment is from the lovely Lynne at Sentiments 4 You.

Next stop by Roro's blog, to see what she has in store for you today.

Remember, once you have hopped to all the stops and left your comments (we will be checking), it's your turn to show us your "Holiday Havoc" project.
Make sure to include a digital stamp somewhere on your project, and link up your project over at Craft Your Passion Challenges by Midnight CST December 23 to be eligible for the prizes. Winners will be announced on our Monday, December 26th Challenge post.
Phew, I think I'd best go and sit down for a while now to recover.
Have fun everyone.

Final GDT spot for Polka Doodles

Hello all.
A very happy Friday morning to you.
Well it is time for my final venture as GDT for Polka Doodles, thanks for all your lovely comments on my Easel Drawer Box Card.
Well this time the challenge over at Polka Doodles is:
THROUGH THE WINDOW
Include a Window or Aperture to Look Into
So here is my card:

I have used images and papers from the Pretty Sweet CD and followed a tutorial from Splitcoaststampers but have adapted the aperture shape.

All the stamped images are made using Clarity Stamps, Split Tree, leaves to dress the tree and the flock of birds.  The grass is done using the side of a tree stamp.

I hope you can see the 3D effect ok, it is difficult to take the pics without blurring the images.
I'd like to thank the girls at Polka Doodles for having me as one of their GDT's and for making me think outside the box, I have had a ball, thanks girls.

Anything But a Card - OLL DT

Hello bloggy friends.  Well, it is Monday again and that means it is time for another fabulous challenge at Ooh La La Creations.  Firstly, please let me say a big thank you for all the entries that we had for the last challenge.  Please stop by the Ooh La La Challenge Blog to see who our lucky winners were.  Remember, there is no Random Org here, the Design Team take it in turns to pick their favourite and two runners up - so if you won it's because we loved your creation!!

So, onto the next challenge and this time it is:
ANYTHING BUT A CARD!
These are made from the new release CD at Ooh La La Creations called Festive Funnies.  There is a folder on there with bags and boxes in and that's where these are from.
So here you go then, first we have:
This is a little bag template (not happy about the way the colours have come out really, was just getting used to a new printer!!)
The tag and motif embellishments are all from the same CD.
This is the back of the bag.
ust to prove that you can make things other than for Christmas, this little box is also on the CD.
I just printed it out (again - not happy with the colour) and added a lovely butterfly to the lid.

These templates are so easy to use and versatile too.  If you need small boxes and bags then these are just perfect.  I guess you could always take the templates into an editing programme and make them a little bigger if you wanted to but I haven't tried this - not sure what it would do to the pixelation!!

Please remember to stop by the rest of the Design Team and see their fabulous creations (links on the DT tab at the top of this page).  They have all worked really hard to offer you some inspiration, so please remember to leave them some love if you pay a visit.

Midway Reminder - Totally Tilda - White on White

Hello peeps,
Well I just popped in to remind you that you have about a week left to submit your entries for our latest challenge at Totally Tilda.
Don't forget the challenge this time is:
WHITE ON WHITE
With Embossing and Glitter
(That means no colour anywhere except skin and hair - not even any shading on clothes etc)
********************
Now you know that I always show you a sneaky peek of my card the day the challenge goes live don't you?  So today is the day I can show you the whole thing!  Bet you're excited now aren't you?? LOL
Just kidding, I'm not really that big headed, honest.  So here you go then, my card for this challenge:
So the base card is .....WHITE! (obviously) and across the middle I have put a piece of white lace.
On top of that I have used one of Susie's fabulous Snowflake Die Cuts and embossed it and then glittered it.
I have used my Prismacolour pencils for the skin tones and hair.  For Tilda's dress, wings and halo I have used white glitter.
That fabulous poinsettia (a Marianne creatables die) is cut from bright white card and the embossed lines on the petals have been glittered using my quickie glue pen and glamour dust, I finished it off by added four little white pearls in the centre.
The three little flowers are cut with Tonic Petal pairs punches and glittered.
The flowers are from my stash (white baby's breath - just love these) and the twirly thing is made from a white pipe cleaner and the leaves are handpunched, again from bright white card.
And lastly I added one of Lynne's lovely sentiments from Sentiments 4 You and covered it all over with glamour dust.
Well at least I think I achieved the "with glitter" part of the challenge - don't you??? LOL
Can't wait to see your fabulous WOW creations, we have had some beautiful ones up to now, so what you waiting for - off you go and get creating!

Christmas in Traditional Colours at Crafty Ribbons

Happy Thursday morning to you lovely peeps!
Time once again for a new challenge at Crafty Ribbons.
Thanks for all your fabulous creations on our last challenge, you really are a crafty lot aren't you?
Please stop by the Crafty Ribbons Challenge blog and see if you were one of our handpicked top 3 or our Random Winner!
So, onto our new challenge.
We are sponsored for this challenge by:
Fabulous Flowers
Here is a little bit about them:
MuberryCraftsUK online shop is a Home-Based business run by Bev .This time the challenge is:

At the moment we are focussing on providing miniature flowers made from genuine mulberry paper for crafts use - although we have a small selection of non -paper crafts too. Why mulberry paper? Because they are robust, realistic look and last longer than ordinary paper and it provides a sustainable income for people in the cottage industry. In due course we will be introducing more of other craft materials which is not related to mulberry paper.

Christmas in Traditional Colours
So here is my project for this challenge:
I have used one of the fabulous Bugaboo images and this one is called Fancy Sunbonnet Winter.
These images are a dream to colour and I have used my Prismacolour Pencils to colour this one.  I have added white glamour dust to the brim of her had and the cuffs on her sleeves (although it doesn't really show up very well on these pics!)
I have added a piece of DP which was in a freebie pack from one of the Cardmaking and Papercraft Magazine.  The three little poinsettias are from my stash and I have had them for simply ages!!

I also added a gem branch too, although again it doesn't show up well on here.  That lush ribbon at the top and the bottom is, of course, from Crafty Ribbons and you can find this particular range here.
Can't wait to see what you all come up with for this challenge, have fun.

Challenges:
Bee Crafty - It's Christmas

The Pink Elephant - Snowflakes and Sparkle

Party Time Tuesdays - Holiday Sentiment (again, hope the ribbon counts)

Make a Date at Die Cut Dreams

Good morning my blogging friends.  Here we are at the start of another week so that must mean it is time for a new challenge at Die Cut Dreams.  Thank you once again to all those who entered our last challenge.  Please remember to stop by the Die Cut Dreams challenge blog to see if you were one of our lucky winners.
So, onto the new challenge and this time the theme is:
MAKE A 2012 CALENDAR OR A JAN 2012 CALENDAR PAGE
So time to get your thinking hats on and get crafting.
Here is my project for this fortnight's challenge:
I chose to make a complete calendar.  First off I printed all the monthly calendar pages from the Watercolour Memories CD from Ooh La La which you can find here.
Then I cut them to exactly the same size.  When you print them off there is a black line at the top and the bottom.  I cut them off at the bottom line and used the top line as a marker to put perforations on each page.
(This way they can be ripped off at the end of each month)
Then I cut a back cover and front cover from plain white thick card and cut this to the same shape as the calendar.  The front cover was again perforated at the same line as the monthly pages.  Each page was added to the next using very strong double sided tape.  Then I added a piece of ruched ribbon to hang it with.

I decorated the front cover using a piece of DP first and then using some chipboard letters stamped them with the ink colour I had decided on and then clear embossed them to give them some shine.

The little flowers are made with Tonic punches and I used a sheet from their Print, Punch and Cut CD Petal Pairs which you can find here.
I added a butterfly, again inked up in the colour of my choice and clear embossed.  The leaves are hand punched.
So there you go then, my 2012 Calendar - I hope you like it.
If you want to see more inspiration then please pop over to the Die Cut Dreams Challenge Blog where you will see some fantastic calendar projects.
Well peeps, I can't wait to see what you all come up with over the next two weeks.  Have fun!
