New Challenge and a Blog Hop!!!!!

Long Post peeps - go grab a cuppa and a biscuit..... go on...... I'll wait.
De dum de dum de dum...... oh you're back, good, right let's get started then shall we??
*********
Wow, can you believe Easter is here already we know the weather has been bad here in the UK so to celebrate Easter and to cheer everyone up we’re having a blog hop with lots of prizes available. We also have a new challenge over at Crafty Ribbons Challenge....
This time the challenge is hosted by Marianne and the theme is
ANYTHING GOES WITH RIBBON
We'll draw a random winner for the challenge and we’ll have the Top 3 as usual. You can get all the details and lots more ideas from the Design Team over at Crafty Ribbons Challenge .
So here is the card I made for the new challenge:
I have used one of those fabulous Pip images from Sugar Nellie and this one is Chocolate Pip  I just love these images.
The backing paper is from the Perfect Pair paper pad by Nitwits at Lili of the Valley.
The fabulous die cut was from my good friend Susie Sugar - MWAH!!
The image is coloured with my Faber Castell Polychromo pencils.
Flowers and pin are from my stash and the sentiment is from Lili of the Valley.
The little easter eggs have been in my stash for a while now and the Happy Birthday ribbon is of course from Crafty Ribbons and you can find it here.
And for the winner of our Anything Goes with Ribbon challenge here is the fabulous prize:
Woohooo!!
*******************
Also, we are having a Blog Hop. You can get the full list of blogs over at Crafty Ribbons Inspiration Blog,we  have some special people hopping along with us,so why go over to Crafty Ribbons Inspiration Blog  and  join in with us.
There will be two main winners from the Blog Hop and several Hop Stop Candy winners too.

And for the Blog Hop this is what I have made...
Using the Keep Calm and Carry On grosgrain ribbon
and Lili of the Valley stamp called New Hat
So the image is stamped on one of my fabulous die cuts from the lovely Susie Sugar!! Thank you darling!!
The backing paper is from the Promises Paper Pad by Nitwits at Lili of the Valley. Gosh I do so love these paper pads.
The image is again coloured with my Faber Castell Polychromo pencils.
The flowers and gem branch are from Wild Orchid crafts.
The butterflies are from a batch I bought of a seller on ebay but I can't remember their name sorry.
The gorgeous ribbon is from, of course, Crafty Ribbons and you can find it here.

So here's what you have to do on the Blog Hop then.
At each stop there'll be a word to collect and a candy draw.
I've got these gorgeous ribbons to give away, and believe me there are a lot of ribbons here! Loads more than you can see in the picture!!

To be in with a chance of winning this you just need to leave a comment at the end of this post. Saying you're joining us on the blog hop...

Each stop will have a word which you should collect to make a phrase.

You should have arrived here from Elise's blog. So my word is REALLY. At the end of the blog hop you should have 20 words, work out the phrase and leave it in the comments back at Crafty Ribbons Inspiration Blog. The blog hop will run until 6pm on Tuesday 2nd April and the winner, plus the winners of each of the Design Teams' Candy will be announced at 6pm on Wednesday 3rd April on the Crafty Ribbons Inspiration Blog. We will have comment moderation on so there can be no cheating. Hahahaha!!

Your next stop is the lovely Gretha. If you lose your way you can go back to Crafty Ribbons Inspiration Blog to get the full list. Good luck everyone.

So by now you will know that we have some fabulous special guests hopping along with us from Lili of the Valley.  So not only will there be a prize for the fortnightly challenge as above there will also be two fabulous prizes for the Blog Hop. This is the first one:

Lili of the Valley specialises in the design and production of gorgeous & unique rubber stamps, sentiment stamps, die-cut designs and papers for the card making and crafting sector. “At Lili of the Valley, we strive to produce excellent quality products with beautiful designs that enable you to make lovely cards every time, simply and easily. We also pride ourselves on taking care with everything we do to make sure you receive great products, at a good price and as quickly as possible."

and they are giving this fabulous prize!!!

And secondly the fabulous prize on offer from Ali at Crafty Ribbons is:

   Ribbon Hamper

***************

So does this look like a fab lot of wonderful prizes or what??
I do hope you get time to join in with our challenge and our Blog Hop and who knows you may be walking away with one, or more, of our fabulous prizes or individual candy draws!!
How cool is that??

Oh Baby and a Blog Hop

Well, hello all, time once again for another challenge at Totally Tilda.
This fortnight is going to be a bit different though.
We are soon going to be celebrating our second birthday and we have also surpassed the 1000 follower mark so we thought, what better way to celebrate and thank all you lovely Tilda fans than to have a very special blog hop.
Now the hop will run along side the current challenge for the next two weeks so you will have plenty of time to join in.
For this challenge - and this challenge only - you are allowed to use ANY Magnolia baby image - yes, even little Edwin!!
We have three super sponsors for the main challenge so that means there will be not one, not two but three winners as well as our Top 3.
On top of that there will be some surprise candy along the way so you won't want to miss out any of the Design Teams blogs because you just never know where the candy might be!!
So here is the card I made for the baby challenge:
I have used little Tingla (sweet isn't she??) and added her to one of Susie's fabulous die cuts.
I added four pieces of lace across the back of the image and the DP is Magnolia paper.
The little shoes are from a Craftsuprint Sheet which I downloaded ages ago.  If you haven't been to Craftsuprint you really should as there are literally hundreds of designs to choose from to help you with your card making, knitting and other craft projects.  Click the link in my sidebar to take you straight there.
I used the shoes as the stopper for my easel and I added a rub on sentiment on to the base of the easel card.
**************
So there you have it.
So you should have come here right from the main challenge blog and your next stop will be to the fabulous Susie Sugar.
When you have finished the hop you will end up back at the main challenge blog so leave a comment there to let us know that you have completed the hop and entered your project into the challenge.
We will announce all the winners in a Winners Post on the Tuesday following the new challenge so remember to be a follower of the main blog so you don't miss the announcement.
Good luck everyone and above all, have fun.
hugs

**********************
Can you believe Christmas is over and we are into January??  Me neither.

However, as we are now into January that means it’s time for the sales and Crafty Ribbons started their mega sale on the 3rd January where there are lots of fabulous ribbons at fantastic prices so to celebrate we’re having a blog hop with lots of prizes available.
This is the prize for the main blog hop winner:

Just think how many gorgeous ribbons you can buy with that, especially whilst the sale is on!!!
Of course, we also have our new challenge and this time,Gina is hosting.....
NEW BEGINNINGS
...And here is the prize for the challenge winner:
CONTENTS MAY VARY
We'll draw a random winner for both the blog hop and challenge and  we’ll have the top 3 as usual. You can get all the details and lots more ideas from the Design Team over at the main site.
Here's what I made:
I have used a Whiff of Joy stamp called Willow Holding Baby which you can buy here.
See that gorgeous ribbon down the left hand side - well that's one of the new range of ribbons that will be available very soon at Crafty Ribbons.
The image is coloured with my Flexmarkers.  These pens are just fabulous to work with and I absolutely love them to bits.
The flowers and pins are from my stash and the sentiment is a wooden stamp I have had for ages.
Now comes the exciting bit........
We are having a Blog Hop that will run alongside this current challenge. If you get lost along the way, just pop back to the challenge blog and you will find the full list of blogs in Hop Order.
At each stop there'll be a word to collect and a candy draw.
I've got these gorgeous ribbons to give away

To be in with a chance of winning this you just need to leave a comment at the end of this post. Let me know what you think of my card and saying you're joining us on the blog hop...
At each stop there will be a word which you should collect. Once you have collected all 12 words re-arrange them to make a phrase and then leave that phrase in a comment on the challenge blog (we will have comment moderation on so you won't be able to cheat!!)

So, you should have arrived here from the fabulous Pinky’s Blog My word is A. The blog hop will run until 6pm on 18th January 2012 and the winner and the winners of each of the Design Teams Candy will be announced with the start of the New Challenge on the 19th January

Craft Your Passion Challenges - Holiday Havoc Blog Hop

Welcome People from wherever you are!
This is a long, long post, so best grab a cuppa before you start, you could be here for a while!! LOL
I always enjoy being part of a fabulous blog hop and when I saw this one I just had to join in. So here goes then!
*****************
Welcome to Craft Your Passion Challenges "Holiday Havoc 2011" Blog Hop!!

We are very excited about holidays and wanted to add to the chaos and havoc.
What better way to do that, than to have a BLOG HOP!!!

If you have hopped over from Jacqui's blog, then you are in the right place. If you just happened to stop by and would like to join our hop from the beginning, please go to Craft Your Passion Challenges and follow along for a chance to win some AMAZING blog candy along the way and PRIZES at the end.

All Craft Your Passion DT members are going to be playing along in the hop with some very special guest designers.

Each designer along the way is featuring a project that showcases a digital image from at least one of our amazing Blog Hop Sponsors.
What’s more exciting is you can participate too by creating a project and linking it up over at Craft Your Passion Challenges for a chance to win one of several prizes.

But, there’s a twist. Be sure to visit all the stops and leave a comment (we will be checking). Once you have finished the hop, we would like you to create a HOLIDAY project using at least one digital stamp and enter it with our Linky tool.

While you are hopping, be sure to check out the blog candy the designer's have to offer you. You don't want to miss out on any of it!
*****************
So here are the two projects I made:
My first project features an image from one of my most favourite Digital Artists, Jodie at Bugaboo.
This is called Little Penguin Winter bench and you can find it here:
I coloured the image with Prismacolour Pencils and Promarkers.  I had a go at putting some sky in the background, not sure if it worked really though.  The poinsettia is a Marianne Creatables die, I just love this die.  I added some glitter on the embossed lines.
The two sentiment stamps are Kanban stamps and come as part of a Reindeer set, as are the snowflake stamps, and all are stamped and embossed.  The baubles are something I have had in my stash for simply ages.

The fabulous lush velvet ribbon is from, yes you guessed it, Crafty Ribbons and you can see the full range here.
So, that was my first project and here is my second:
The image is from Crafty Sentiments, another of the fabulous sponsors of this Holiday Havoc blog hop.
Once again the lush velvet ribbon is from Crafty Ribbons (see here).  I added a glittered stocking which is a Jolie's boutique sticker and again I've had this for ever!!
I coloured the image with my promarkers and then stamped some snowflakes on to the stocking and covered it with glitter.
The sentiment is from the lovely Lynne at Sentiments 4 You.

Next stop by Roro's blog, to see what she has in store for you today.

Remember, once you have hopped to all the stops and left your comments (we will be checking), it's your turn to show us your "Holiday Havoc" project.
Make sure to include a digital stamp somewhere on your project, and link up your project over at Craft Your Passion Challenges by Midnight CST December 23 to be eligible for the prizes. Winners will be announced on our Monday, December 26th Challenge post.
Phew, I think I'd best go and sit down for a while now to recover.
Have fun everyone.

A Quick Reminder and Outstanding Service!

Hi peeps,
Just a quick reminder to let you all know that you only have a few days left to join in with our fabby Blog Hop over at Die Cut Dreams!
There is a fabulous prize on offer for the overall winner of the Blog Hop which has been donated by the lovely Susie at Die Cut Dreams.
You can also enter the current challenge to be in with a chance of winning a Guest Designer Spot and on top of all that there is candy to be won on some of the DT blogs.
So, what you waiting for????  Get on over and join in the fun, after all, you could win more than once!!
*******************
Secondly, I have come across some fabulous people during my time blogging and sometimes I think these people deserve a big shout out for Great Service.
You all know that I love my ribbons from Crafty Ribbons and I have often told you what a fabulous service they offer - sometimes even giving free P&P just by answering a simple question.

*****************
Well here is another fabby online shop which I think goes that extra mile for their customers.
I have recently started shopping online at Sir Stampalot!
sirstampalot.co.uk
sirstampalot.co.uk, rubber stamping, card making projects, scrapbooking and paper crafting
I set up my account and started browsing.  I ran out of time so logged out, determined to go back as soon as possible.
When I tried to log back in, I couldn't access my account! I was sure I was using the right password but it just wasn't having any of it.  So I sent an email via the "Contact Us" button on the homepage.
Oh My Word, the speed of the reply from the lovely Janice knocked me sideways.
She checked my account, changed my password, emailed me the new one and then told me to try logging in and if successful, to change my password.
BINGO!!!
I placed my order and it arrived within a couple of days!  So What?? I hear you say, nothing special there, most people have a good delivery service.
Quite right!  BUT!!  Yesterday lunchtime I placed an order - and here's the best bit - it arrived at my office this morning, at about 10:00 am.  Now that is what I call Damn Good Service.
I always get an email as soon as my order has been despatched and bless her, Janice always writes, "Enjoy your goodies!"
Well Janice, thanks to your fantastic service and quick response to my email I can safely say I will be enjoying my goodies and will definitely be back to shop again......and again......and again........and again!!!
I think it is important to praise fantastic service, especially in this day and age.
So thank you Janice, for your help and your fantastic service!
I hope more people will stop by and have a browse through your store.  I am sure that, like me, they will be bowled over!

Birthday Blog Hop at Inktegrity

Photobucket

As a special celebration, Inktegrity is having a birthday blog hop on January 14th to celebrate it's 6 month birthday! Of course, birthday parties mean gifts - for you, that is!

Here are two ways that you can get Inktegrity's little thank you gift:

1) Grab this image from the sidebar on Inktegrity's blog and help us spread the word on your own blog. (Either as a post or in your own sidebar is fine.)Then comment back here so we know that you've sent out the "invitation". (heehee!) Please do this by January 13th. We will select 10 friends randomly to get the special digi.

2) If you are just joining us and it is already blog hop time, then visit all of the DT blogs on January 14th and leave them some love. We'll draw a random winner to receive the special gift who will also make his debut on Jaunary 15th, our new release day.

Trust me - you won't want to miss it!

The Stampman Blog Hop and Fave Project Awards

Hi all,
I know I am a little late with this and that most of you will have already done the hop - but if you haven't then you really should, there are some fab prizes up for grabs and some awesome inspiration from the DT too.
Anyway, Jill has offered everyone the chance to pick up an award for choosing their favourite project of the year.

So, I have only been doing this blogging for six months so had fewer to choose from than most of you, but it was still quite difficult.  I finally decided on my first attempt at a door hanger.  I probably wouldn't have attempted one of these except that I received one in a RAK so thought I'd give it a go.  I was quite pleased with the result and that's why I decided to choose this as my favourite project of 2009.

If you want to see how I made it please click here.  Thanks Jill for this idea, it is lovely.
