Hi again,
I hope you are enjoying our alternative Olympic Event over on the Crafty Ribbons Inspiration blog.
Well, we are well under way now and today is Day 4.

Today as our theme is flowers who better than to be showcasing but MulberryCraftsUK.

Mulberry Paper ROSES & Sample

MulberryCraftsUK online shop is a Home-Based business  run by Bev . Who juggles caring for her family and running this business from home.
At the moment we are focussing on providing miniature flowers made from genuine mulberry paper for crafts use - although we have a small selection of non -paper crafts too. Why mulberry paper? Because they are robust, realistic look and last longer than ordinary paper and it provides a sustainable income for people in the cottage industry. In due course we will be introducing more of  other craft materials which is not related to mulberry paper.

So here is the card I made for today:
The image is of course Tilda which I have coloured with my Polychromo Pencils.
The background paper is from a free paperpack with a past issue of Cardmaking and Papercraft.
The gorgeous buttons, and cute as a button sentiment ribbon is of course from Crafty Ribbons.

The mulberry paper flowers are from Mulberry Crafts UK

Remember all the links are open until the end of the event and winners will be drawn on 13 August.
Please do hop on over to the Crafty Ribbons Inspiration blog and add your name to the linky to be in with a chance of winning the fabulous prize shown above.
Whilst you are there, why not add your name to any of the Linkys you have missed and who knows - you may win more than once!

Morning everyone.
Sorry this post is a little late.  I decided to have a lie in this morning and promptly forgot all about posting my card.  Still better late than never eh??
So today is Day 2 of our fabulous Crafting for Gold Event over at the Crafty Ribbons Inspiration Blog.

Indigo Blu

So here is my creation for today's event:
I have used the Anemone Corner from Indigo Blu and stamped it twice onto white card.
I have then coloured both images the same with my Prismacolour Pencils and adhered them to my card base.
Next I used my doily die cut and chalked around the edge and then cut two butterflies from matching papers using my Shapeabilities. I sprayed the top butterfly with Silver Spray and Sparkle from Crafter's Companion.
I am so pleased with how this card has turned out and I hope that you like it to.

So remember to stop by

So Angelic at the Christmas Card Club

Morning all,
well another lovely sunny Sunday rolls around and it is my turn to set the challenge at the Christmas Card Club.
So, I decided to go adding an Angel to your creation and here is what I came up with:
This image is from an Ooh La La CD called Christmas Presence and is called, appropriately enough - Angel of Christmas.
These are little individual cards on the CD which you can use to either make small gift cards as I have done or you can just use the image part to add an extra accent to a bigger card.

All I have done is added some gold ribbon to tie my tag on with and some gold glitter on her dress.
I think these are really cute, individual gift tags and will definitely be making more of these.
Thank you for stopping by today.
Please leave me a comment before you go so that I know you popped in, they really do mean alot.
Back soon
Have a lovely Sunday everyone

So here is the card I made for today:
I have used some beautiful Jacquard White bridal ribbon, added a piece down the left hand side of the card and then used some to make that fabulous flower in the top right hand corner.
The tutorial for this flower is on the Crafty Ribbons DVD
Here is a little close up of the flower.
The DVD adds a button to the middle of the flower but I chose little pearls as it was a wedding card.

I have used images and DP from the Carnival of Colour CD which you can buy here.  The three button embellishments are from the same CD.
The image is from the Hollyhocks folder and I have just mounted the image onto some contrasting card.
Sometimes, the simplest of cards are the most satisfying to make, don't you think?

So here is my project for this challenge:
I have used Cheeky Beach from The Greeting Farm and stamped her on one of my fabulous die cuts from my good friend Susie Sugar, thanks darling!

Use a Magnolia sentiment!

Hello bloggy friends.
I hope this Sunday finds you well and happy?
Well, as it is Sunday that means there is another new challenge over at the Totally Tilda challenge blog.
Firstly though, I would just like to say thank you for all your wonderful entries on the last challenge.
It always makes it hard to choose a winner/top 3 but that's part of the fun!
So what are we going to tempt you with this time??
Well the new challenge is:
USE A MAGNOLIA SENTIMENT
(Please only use a sentiment produced by Magnolia on your project, plus sweet Tilda of course)
***************
For this challenge we are sponsored once again by the lovely Nikki at Bunny Zoe's Crafts
and the prize for this challenge is:

So here is the card I made for the new challenge:

As soon as I saw this little Tilda I knew I just had to have her.  Tigers are my most favourite big cat and so into my basket she went. This is the first time I have inked her up though and I just had to use the traditional colours.  I have seen some beautiful images in different colours and they looked divine but for me I had to stay traditional!!

So I used my Copics to colour her in and then placed her onto a die cut circle which came from a pack of Scallop Circle Cards from Whichcraft.  The pack has 32 die cut circles 16 scallop and 16 plain all for just £4.08.  Why not pop over and have a look at their card selection, there are some fantastic products and the quality of the card is superb.  I sprayed the smaller black circle with Crafter's Companion Spray And Sparkle Gold - effective don't you think.  The little heart die cut was from a very dear friend and team mate (thanks sweetie!).

That gorgeous polka dot ribbon was from Crafty Ribbons. Now I bought this a while back from the Bargain Basket and I don't think they have it anymore.  But trust me, it is always worth popping in and having a good  hunt through the Bargain Basket as there are some fabulous ribbons there to be had at a fantastic price.  You know what they say - Miss it, Miss Out!!
The fabulous flowers are both from my stash and Wild Orchid.  That gorgeous pin was from another of my wonderful teamies!! (Thanks darling!)
And so to the sentiment.  Sold to go with the image I stamped it with embossing ink and then used some WOW peach gleam embossing powder.  I'm wishing I had used gold now but hey ho, such is life!!
So folks there you have it, my Tilda and Magnolia Sentiment.
Can't wait to see what you come up with.
Have fun!!

Christmas Card Club

Oh my word, I don't believe I have actually made a card for the next challenge at the Christmas Card Club.
I had to take a break from the club as I just didn't have enough hours in the day but now I have decided to make the effort and join in again with as many challenges as I can.
So this challenge was set by the lovely Sue and she wants to see Funny Christmas cards.
So I decided to use my Ooh La La CD - Festive Funnies and here is what I came up with:
This image is from the folder called "Why Me?" and I have used the pyramage images.
I have also used two of the backing sheets, I love the weave papers that are always on the Ooh La La CD's, they just have that certain something.  The ribbon is also from an Ooh La La CD.
So there you have it my first Christmas Card Club in a few months, but hopefully I'm now on a roll.
