So here is my project for this challenge:
I went for Black White and Pink (bet you hadn't worked that one out had you? - LOL)
The flower is made using a Stampin Up Stamp and Punch set which I won some time ago in a candy.
I used three different ribbons from Crafty Ribbons at the bottom of the card and four gems at the top of the card.
I added a dark pink button with some bobbly cotton threaded through for the middle of the flower.
So there you go then.  Please remember to stop by the rest of the DT blogs and have a look at their fabulous inspiration, you won't be disappointed.

Well the new challenge is:
TILDA HOLDING FLOWERS
FOR THIS CHALLENGE YOU MUST USE A TILDA IMAGE THAT IS HOLDING A FLOWER OR A BUNCH OF FLOWERS.

So here is the card I made for the new challenge:
I used this gorgeous Tilda holding Tulips for my image and coloured her with flexmarkers and promarkers.

Here is a close up of the image and background stamp.

And here is a close up of the flowers I used.  Wild Orchid - Hellebore, tulips, miniature roses and purple stamens to which I added hand punched leaves and also a purple chandelier from Wild Orchid.

Midway Reminder - Totally Tilda

Hello peeps,
Well I just popped in to remind you that you have about a week left to submit your entries for our latest challenge at Totally Tilda.
Don't forget the challenge this time is:
EASTER TILDA
********************
Here's the card I made for the midway reminder:

I only recently bought this image and the reason I bought it was because I was inspired by a card Lori made last Easter so thanks Lori.
The image is coloured with my Flexmarkers and promarkers and I have used my nestabilities scalloped circles.
I used an old sketch from Friday Sketchers as the base of my card.  The papers are all from a papermania pad and the gorgeous polka dot ribbon is one of a new range at Crafty Ribbons.  The gorgeous flowers are from a recent spending spree at Wild Orchid Crafts.  The little die cut butterfly was from Liz (thanks hun!!).  It was cut in white card and I have used my flexmarkers to make it match the rest of the card.  I've also done the same with the sentiment which is computer generated.  I have placed a piece of cheesecloth at the back of the design and also used a PATP as the base.  You might just be able to see that little pin at the top left of the card and that is from a lovely Cricket hating friend!!! LOL (Thanks sweetie!!)
So, there you have it.  I hope you get time to join in with this challenge, after all who wouldn't want a chance at that fabby prize from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Happy Easter Tilda - #42

Hello bloggy friends.
I hope this Sunday finds you well and happy?
Well, as it is Sunday that means there is another new challenge over at the Totally Tilda challenge blog.
Firstly though, I would just like to say thank you for all your wonderful entries on the last challenge.
It always makes it hard to choose a winner/top 3 but that's part of the fun!
So what are we going to tempt you with this time??
Well the new challenge is:
HAPPY EASTER TILDA
So, come on let's see all those wonderful Easter cards and creations.
*****************
For this challenge we have a wonderful new sponsor.
The fabulous Paul and Siri from Wild Orchid have agreed to sponsor this challenge:
And, just look at the gorgeous prize on offer:

Thanks so much guys - sooo excited.
From now on I will be showing you a complete card to mark the beginning of the new challenge at Totally Tilda and then I will be making a new card for the Midway Reminder.  So, now you get two for the price of one!!  What a bargain!
So here is the card I made for the new challenge:
I haven't made a Criss Cross card for ages so I thought I'd give it a whirl.
The image is coloured with my Flexmarkers and promarkers.
The papers are from the new Magnolia collection, this particular paper is one of the Mini collection.  The cute little butterfly is from my bestest friend Ali, thanks hun!
The flowers are mainly from Wild Orchid, the lace is from my stash as are the buttons and brad.
I wanted the pull out tag to mirror the front of the card!

So, I stamped the image at the same angle as the one on the front but just stamped it as an outline image in TH DI - Broken China.  The Best Wishes stamp is from my stash and the Leafy Border stamp is a Clarity Stamp which you can find here.
So there you go peeps, hope you like it.
Challenges:
Magnolia-licious Highlites - Create a project that moves and grooves

Getting sporty at the Christmas Card Club

Hi all,
Well time once again for another card to add to my Christmas Card total.  Am I glad I joined this lovely band of ladies - I so wouldn't have made the Christmas cards I have if I hadn't have joined up.
So this time it was Sally's  turn to host the challenge and she chose:
WINTER OLYMPICS
So here is the card I made for this challenge:
As soon as I saw the challenge title I knew which image I was going to use.  I just love this Tilda and Edwin skating.
The image is coloured with my promarkers and flexmarkers and I have placed the image on to one of those wonderful die cuts from my good friend Susie Sugar.  If you keep an eye on her EBay shop you may see some popping up from time to time - grab them when you do - you know what they say....."Miss It - Miss Out!!" LOL
I have tried to make it look like they are on a skating rink by adding some "boards" in the background and some trees behind that using a Clarity Stamp.  I have chalked the boards and the ice rink.
The paper is from an Ooh La La CD called Joyeux Noel and whilst I think this one is now discontinued it is always worth popping in to the Ooh La La shop to see what's about.  Not only are there CD's but there are also a range of digital papers, digital images and some freebies too.
The greeting inside, which is from Clarity Stamp,  is stamped on plain white card and then I have used a Martha Stewart PATP before sticking it down onto the same backing paper that appears on the front of the card.
The snowflakes in the left hand panel (sorry about the shadow on the pic) are a Clarity Stamp which you can find here,
and the Christmas Trees on the right hand panel are half a stamp - also from Clarity and you can see that one here.
So there you go, my Winter Olympic Christmas Card.  Another one to add to my growing pile, oh it feels good to say that!! LOL
Challenges:
Winter Wonderland - Christmas Scene (I hope the ice rink is enough!!)
Papertake Weekly - Anything Goes
Just Magnolia - Blue and White
CHNC - Glam it up with glitter

Exciting news from Softpencil

Hello peeps,
For those of you who have followed me for some time you will remember that I was on the Design Team for Softpencil.
Sadly Elizabeth came across some unscrupulous people who were stealing her images and she decided to close her Softpencil blog because of it.
Well the good news is that Elizabeth has been busy busy busy working on some new stuff and I'm here today to show you one of the new digi images.
This image features Michu and Ratiny dressed as Leprachauns.  This is a remake of an older digi so if you think you've seen it before you could well be right!
So here's the card I made:
This digi is available to buy here.  Why not pop along and see what other exciting news Elizabeth has in store for you all.
For those of you who do Facebook (I don't I'm afraid!) you can also follow Softpencil on Facebook
I shall enter this card into the following challenges:
Delightful Challenges - St Patick's Day
Pixie Dust Studio - Show us your Irish

Yellow and Green at CFAS

Well, here we with another new challenge at Crafting for all Seasons.
Thank you so much for all your lovely wonderful creations for our last challenge.
Remember to stop by the challenge blog and see if you were amongst our winners.
So the new challenge is:
USE YELLOW AND GREEN
For this challenge we are lucky to be sponsored by:
and

So here is my card for this challenge:
I have used an image from Tickled Pink and she is called Lil Victorian Christmas Lolita Christina.
Don't you think she looks like an elegant lady??

The image is coloured with my flexmarkers and promarkers and I have used yellow, green and grey chalk on the die cut in the background.
The lovely little sentiment is one of the lovely Lynne's from Sentiments 4 You.  Those little white poinsettias were from a challenge win at Dream Valley.

The fabulous ribbon bow is - naturally - from Crafty Ribbons and those little bells are also from the same challenge win package at Dream Valley.

I thought I'd be a bit quirky and add some rolls of wrapping paper on the floor around her and of course some glittery thread to finish off her parcels with.
So I hope you like my card.
Please remember to stop by the rest of the DT (links on the DT tab at the top of the page) and have a look at their wonderful creations too.
