Midway Reminder to get in shape!!

Hello folks,
Just popped in to remind you that you have about a week left to enter the current challenge over at Totally Tilda.
This time the challenge is:
SHAPED CARD
(No squares or rectangles and it must be a CARD!)
And don't forget we are sponsored by:

So here is my Midway creation for you:

I cut the shape of this out using my Silhoutte Cameo. The cutting file was one I bought from Craftsuprint!  If you want to have a look at the vast selection of cutting files that they have then just click on the link in my sidebar to take you there.
So not only did it cut out the basic shape, it also cut out those little flowers you can see on the base card and the circle and cut out flower that I have used as the easel stopper.

I distressed all of the edges using TH Distress Ink pad Wild Honey.
I have used Celebration Tilda from the Sweet Crazy Love collection and I have coloured the image using my Faber Castell Polychromo pencils.  The background is done using Pan Pastels.
There is a similar technique in the latest Magnolia Ink but that uses Copics - not that brave yet! LOL

This gives you a better idea of the cut out flowers.
I have added some little flowers from my stash along with a leaf pin on the base and a little bow next to the image.

Here is a side view of the card.
So, there you have it peeps.
I do hope you will find the time to pop along and join in our Shaped Card challenge at Totally Tilda this time.
Just before I go, I would like to wish everyone a very happy Easter Day.
Don't eat too much chocolate now!! LOL

The image is coloured with my Faber Castell Polychromo pencils.
Flowers and pin are from my stash and the sentiment is from Lili of the Valley.
The little easter eggs have been in my stash for a while now and the Happy Birthday ribbon is of course from Crafty Ribbons and you can find it here.

The image is again coloured with my Faber Castell Polychromo pencils.

Each stop will have a word which you should collect to make a phrase.

You should have arrived here from Elise's blog. So my word is REALLY. At the end of the blog hop you should have 20 words, work out the phrase and leave it in the comments back at Crafty Ribbons Inspiration Blog. The blog hop will run until 6pm on Tuesday 2nd April and the winner, plus the winners of each of the Design Teams' Candy will be announced at 6pm on Wednesday 3rd April on the Crafty Ribbons Inspiration Blog. Clarity Challenge.

Hi folks,
Just popped in to show you the card I have made for the new Clarity Stamp challenge.
I put this one together for a girl my daughter works with and apparently she loved it.
Now apologies for the rubbish picture but I took this on my phone to make sure it was going to be ok for my daughter's friend.  I have used two Clarity Stamps here.
The champagne glass I have masked one behind the other and the corner stamp I have done in each
corner and finished off with the little bee in the middle of each corner.
I am quite pleased with how it came out but I know I could do better so you know what they say, practice makes perfect.
So I am entering it into the new Monthly challenge at Clarity Stamp for their Anything Goes challenge.

Krafty Christmas

Hi folks
Well another Sunday rolls around and that means it is time for another Christmas Card Club challenge.
This time the challenge was set by our lovely Clare and the theme is
USE KRAFT CARD
So I have been seeing some beautiful creations using Kraft card from the lovely Vicky at Vicky's Handmade Creations so I took my inspiration from her beautiful cards.  Thanks Vixx!! MWAH!
So here you go then:
You will see I have used a fabulous LOTV image for my card this time.
I love their images don't you?
The image is coloured with my Prismacolour Pencils and I have added some stickles to all the stars.
I have used my Kraft card for the matting and layering and the die cuts.
I am really pleased with how this turned out and I may just have to get me some more Kraft card too!!
So challenges that my card will fit are:

Shaped Cards at Totally Tilda

Hello all.
Well it's Sunday again and that means it is time for the new challenge over at Totally Tilda.
Please remember to hop on over to the Totally Tilda challenge blog and have a look to see if you were one of our lucky winners/Top 3.
Remember our winners and top three are chosen by Susie and the Design Team.
No random.org here! So if you won it's because we loved your creation.
************
Right on to the new challenge.
The theme for this fortnight's challenge is:
SHAPED CARDS
(No squares or rectangles)
Now we would like to see any shape of card - not a basket.  Your creation must be a card!!
This time we are lucky to be sponsored by:

So here is my creation for this challenge:
I have used my new Silhouette Cameo to cut this shape out and also the little banner.
I have used Tim Holtz Distress C'oredinations cardstock and I am surprised at how much strength it has.
The stand is a bit flimsy but I guess it stands up and holds the card so it must be ok.

Tilda is coloured with my Faber Castell Polychromo pencils and I have just added a wee sentiment from Lynne's Sentiments 4 You and a few little flowers from my stash and finished it off with a ribbon bow.
I do hope you get time to pop along and join in with the fun this fortnight.
Have fun peeps.

IT'S A MAN THING!!
Here is the card I made for this challenge:
I have used images and DP from the Boys to Men CD which you can buy here. This is actually a mini card which I enlarged in Word and then printed out.  I used one of the backing papers underneath to finish it off. The embellishments are from my stash.

Please remember to stop by the rest of the Design Team and see their fabulous creations (links on the DT tab at the top of this page).  They have all worked really hard to offer you some inspiration, so please remember to leave them some love if you pay a visit.

The image is coloured with my Prismacolour pencils for a change and the sentiment is one of Lynne's from Sentiments 4 You.
The fabulous swiss dots ribbon is from Crafty Ribbons and you can find it here.

Snowballs and Glitter!!

Yes, that's right folks you did read it right!!
It is time for our next challenge at The Christmas Card Club.
We are a group of gals who want to try and get ahead with our Christmas Cards so we all set a little challenge every fortnight and then everyone produces a card to fit the bill.
At the end of the year we should all be well ahead with our Christmas Card makes! "smiles"
Well that's the plan anyway.  LOL
So, this fortnight it is Sue's turn to host and she has chosen a theme of:
Snowballs and Glitter
So here is my card for this fortnight:
Don't you just love this image, sooo cute.
The image is coloured with my Promarkers, Flexmarkers and Copics.
I'm a bit peeved 'cos the ink on the face bled a bit but I didn't have time to make another, so I'll just have to live with it.
Those gorgeous papers are from the Frosty Christmas pad from Nitwits at Lili of the Valley.  They are just such fabulous papers and lovely quality too.
The snowflakes are punched from another sheet from the same pad.
The little snowballs are little tiny balls of cotton wool which I have covered with Stickles.
I have also used glamour dust on the fur around the hats and coat but you can't really see it. :(
The ribbon is some I won quite a while back now so has been in my stash for quite a bit.
So there you have it folks.
Thanks for stopping by.
