Hello Softpencil fans! I hope you are all feeling fit and healthy as the weather gets colder and the nights draw in. It is time once again for us to showcase another of Elizabeth's Halloween images and this week we are showcasing this little treasure - called Trick or Treat.
Here is the card I made:
I coloured all the elements in with my promarkers and then cut them all out. I cut out two ruffled circles in contrasting papers with my Lighthouse Cutter and then stuck the little characters on to the inner circle. I used papers from Summer Driggs called Happy Halloween. I also added a piece of black lace across the top and five little square gems at the bottom.
So please stop in and visit the rest of the DT and see what fabulous creations they have to show you, links are on the DT tab at the top of this page.

Softpencil Thursday - Halloween Peek-A-Boo!
Ooh, these Thursday's seem to come round really quickly - I must be getting old!!
This week we are showcasing another of Elizabeth's Halloween digital images and this one is called Halloween Peek-a-boo! You can buy it here.
Halloween isn't really that big here in the UK but being part of the blogging fraternity gives me a chance to make cards I wouldn't otherwise do. So without further ado here is the card I made:
The papers I have used are called Halloween and are by Summer Driggs - what awesome talent this girl has - if you haven't come across her blog you really should pay a visit!
Because the papers are so fabulous I have left this card quite simple and have only added a double bow and some flat backed gems but I'm really pleased with it. I hope you like it. Remember to visit all the rest of the DT and see what fabulous inspiration they have to show you.

Michu and Ratiny go to School - Softpencil Thursday DT Card
Thursday again which means it is time to showcase another of Elizabeth's wonderful digi images. This is one of Elizabeth's latest Back to School releases and is called Michu and Ratiny go to school - cute isn't it?
Here is the card I made with this image:
I found the ABC paper in a Hot off the Press Paper Pad called Baby and I thought it was idea for a school card. I did the sentiment on the computer and added three small stars at the bottom of the card. Simple card but then it would be for a child just starting school wouldn't it?
If you look carefully at the sentiment you will see that the border is made up of little paper clips!
I will enter this card in the challenges at:
A Crafty Little Place and Bee Crafty - Anything Goes
Cupcake Challenge - Let's get digital
Fussy and Fancy - Back to School
Please remember to click on the Design Teams tab at the top of the page and pay a visit to the rest of the Softpencil DT to see what wonderful creations they all have to offer you. Until next week. xx

Softpencil entertains a Flower and a Ladybug!
Time once again for another Softpencil Thursday my friends. This week we are showcasing the beautiful digi image called Flower and Ladybug - and here is the card I made using this sweet little image.
I coloured the image with my promarkers and added gold stickles to the middle of the flower and crystal stickles to the ladybug (sadly they spread whilst drying :( )
I backed the image onto some pale yellow shiny card and then used some DP that I got in a RAK some time ago, one piece for the main backing and a contrasting piece for the top left corner.
I added a dufex sentiment backed onto the same pale yellow card and a fabric flower topped with a white flower sat on top of a leaf to finish it off.
I am quite pleased with how this turned out and I hope you like it to. If you hop over to the Softpencil blog you will find the links of the rest of the DT as I know they have some fab projects to show you too.
I am going to enter this card into the latest challenge at C.R.A.F.T. where their challenge is Mini Beasts (Insects) - I think my ladybug counts!!

Softpencil Thursday - Molly in Spring
Hello all,
Time once again for Softpencil Thursday. We have worked this week with Molly in Spring which is available from Elizabeth's store - well worth a visit!!
I have coloured my image using my promarkers and watercolour pencils and the papers I have used are from a recently purchased Paper Cellar pad called Celebrations.
I have based my card on the new sketch at Papertake Weekly by Dawny P which I have shown below - I love Dawny's sketches and often use past sketches for DT work - so thanks Dawny!
The mesh flowers at the top were purchased from Craftee and the flower at the bottom was part of a candy win. I have used my promarkers to add similar colours to a white flower to match the rest of the card. The bow is from a candy win at Crafty Ribbons which I made using my Bow Easy.
I'll be back again on August 12th with my next Softpencil Thursday post as Elizabeth is on vacation and so the DT are only posting twice in August so see you then.

Softpencil Thursday - Frog House
Well, Thursday's seem to come round so quickly these days - it is time for another Softpencil Thursday. This week we have used one of Elizabeth's new images called "Frog House" (available at the Softpencil store) as the main image for our cards.
I decided to make a round card for this challenge as it fitted in with the challenge at Sketch and Stash and their sketch which I have shown below:
So, here is the card I made:
I have used Frog House as my main image and I have surrounded that image with little bugs from another of Elizabeth's sets called "Bichitos". I just thought they were so cute I couldn't resist using them on this card.
There are six images in all in the set but I have only used four here. The backing papers I have used are both from Papermania Capsule packs, one called Sunshine and one called Verde.
All the flowers were from my stash, most of them recently purchased from Craftee. I'm quite into these shaped cards at the moment - so please let me know what you think.
I will also enter this card into the challenges at:
Ann's Creative Nook - Anything Goes
Bee Crafty - 3D (All my images are raised on silicone and my flowers add depth)
Craftalicious - Cute
Craftycardmakers - Photo Inspiration (I went with the colours which looked yellow and green on my PC)
Creatalicious - 3D
Flutter by Wednesday's - layers and butterflies or angels
Sweet Stampin - Things with wings
Wild Orchid Challenge - Say it with flowers
