Inspired by Nature at OLL

Hello bloggy friends.
Well, it is Monday again and that means it is time for another fabulous challenge at Ooh La La Creations.  Firstly, please let me say a big thank you for all the entries that we had for the last challenge.  Please stop by the Ooh La La Challenge Blog to see who our lucky winners were.  Remember, there is no Random Org here, the Design Team take it in turns to pick their favourite and two runners up - so if you won it's because we loved your creation!!
**************
So, onto the next challenge and this time it is:
INSPIRED BY NATURE
This theme was chosen by Pauline and she has left a few words of encouragement and insight on the challenge blog so why not pop along and have a look what she has written.
Here is the card I made for this challenge:
This is one of the cards I made for the Create and Craft show to introduce the latest OLL CD which is called Faithful Friends.
I have used images and DP from the Rotty Puppy folder on the Faithful Friends CD which you can buy here.  The only thing I used which wasn't from the CD was the Best Wishes stamp which is a Clarity Stamp.
Don't you just love that cute little face??

Please remember to stop by the rest of the Design Team and see their fabulous creations (links on the DT tab at the top of this page).  They have all worked really hard to offer you some inspiration, so please remember to leave them some love if you pay a visit.

I thought I'd go for something completely different this time.
So here is my project for this challenge:

These little crocheted bootees were a free kit with my knitting magazine.
I have used some plain organza ribbon I have had for ages.
I might however, change it for some spotty organza ribbon available here
I had forgotten how much I enjoy crocheting and I really enjoyed making these.
Look out for some similar projects soon!! :)

Feature a Creature!!

Hi all,
Sorry I am a bit late this morning, busy couple of days behind me, still a couple of big jobs to finish off but am getting there slowly.
So another fortnight rolls off the calendar, rushing towards Christmas. So that must mean time for another challenge over at the Christmas Card Club.
This time it is Hazel's turn to choose the theme and she chose:
FEATURE A CREATURE.
So, should I use a real animal image or cutie?
Well, I decided to go with Cutie.
I have had this rubber stamp in my collection for simply ages but I love it to bits.
I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut the shapes and simply layered them onto some of that glorious paper from Nitwits at Lili of theValley.  This one is called Krafty Christmas.
The image is coloured with my Polychromo pencils and the little flowers/leaves combo is all from my stash.
The fabulous ribbon is of course from Crafty Ribbons.

Multifold challenge at Totally Tilda!

Hello all.
Well it's Sunday again and that means it is time for the new challenge over at Totally Tilda.
Please remember to hop on over to the Totally Tilda challenge blog and have a look to see if you were one of our lucky winners/Top 3.
Remember our winners and top three are chosen by Susie and the Design Team.
No random.org here! So if you won it's because we loved your creation.
************
Right on to the new challenge.
The theme for this fortnight's challenge is:
MORE THAN ONE FOLD
This time we are lucky to be sponsored by:
And the prize is a £10 voucher to use in their store.
**************
So here is my creation for this challenge:
I used a pop out card available at Whichcraft. If you haven't shopped there before you really should go have a look, they have some fabulous stuff.
So here is how I did the outside of the card:
The die cut is a Memory Box one which I added two different coloured inks to and placed them on to some Magnolia DP.  The two little butterflies are self adhesive and I've had them for ages.
The background has been done using Clarity Stamps small tree stamped in second and third generation ink to give the effect of distance.  I used the edge of one of the christmas tree stamps for the grass and bottle green adirondack ink with my sponges.
Tilda and my fence are coloured with my Polychromo pencils and I'm really pleased with how they came out.
I also added a Memory Box die cut Magnolia Tree.
So there you go folks, my more than one fold for this fortnight's challenge at Totally Tilda.
Now it's over to you, I just know there are going to be some stunners.
Don't forget to have a look at the rest of the DT creations, there are some absolutely brilliant projects this time.  I work with some very very talented girlies.
Have fun peeps.

Special challenge, special post for a special lady!

Hello blog lovers everywhere.
A while ago I joined the Design Team at Crafting for all Seasons.
I didn't stay very long due to circumstances changing but I loved being a part of the team, allbeit briefly.
They are a lovely bunch of ladies who were led and inspired by one very special lady.
Dawn Austin
Now most of you will know that on February 5th this year Dawn sadly lost her battle with breast cancer and blogland lost a lovely lady and a special friend.
So to celebrate Dawn's inspiration and the Crafting For All Seasons blog birthday Carol has organised a very special challenge.
To read all the fantastic details and to see the host of wonderful creations made by the Design Team past and present hop on over to Crafting for all Seasons.
Carol asked me if I would like to join in and of course it took me a nano second to say yes.
So here is the card I made for Dawn's special challenge:
I am sure it would have given her a wee chuckle! I hope so anyway.
Of course the wonderful image is from Bugaboo who are one of the wonderful sponsors of the Crafting for all Seasons challenge blog.
The image is coloured with Copics and pencils and I have used one of my lovely die cuts from Susie Sugar.
I wanted to keep the card fairly simple so cut out the image and added it to the die cut with silicone to give it a bit of depth.
I have chalked around the edge of the white die cut with my Pan Pastels.
The gorgeous ribbon is, of course, from Crafty Ribbons.

The little flowers I have had in my stash for ages

I put the sentiment into a text box and added a 3D effect before printing it off.
The background paper is from the Nitwits Collection by Lili of the Valley called Bonnets and Bow Ties.
I hope you have enjoyed looking at my card and that you will stop by the Crafting for all Seasons challenge blog and perhaps even take part, it would be lovely to see this challenge in particular beat the number of entries it has ever received.

Seeing Red!

So, onto the next challenge and this time it is hosted by Wendy.
Wendy chose the theme of:
SEEING RED
So you can make anything you like so long as there is loads of Red in it.
Here is the card I made for this challenge:

I have used images and DP from the Shoes in Bloom 2 CD which you can buy here.  All the embellishments are from my stash.

Please remember to stop by the rest of the Design Team and see their fabulous creations (links on the DT tab at the top of this page).  They have all worked really hard to offer you some inspiration, so please remember to leave them some love if you pay a visit.

Pink Princess Tilda - MW Reminder

Hello folks,
Just popped in to remind you that you have about a week left to enter the current challenge over at Totally Tilda.
This time the challenge is:
PINK PRINCESS TILDA
Our very own Pink Princess, the lovely Susie Sugar chooses this theme at this time every year to celebrate her birthday! and I look forward to it every year.
So your creation MUST feature a Tilda wearing either a crown or Tiara and the main colour must be predominantly PINK. Easy right?

And don't forget we are sponsored by the lovely Nikki:

and the prize is:
**************
So here is my Midway creation for you:
I used the lovely Tilda catching stars and coloured her with my Polychromo Pencils.
I stamped her onto a round die cut - ironically one of Susie's own Die Cuts! Lol.  The outer edged is chalked with my Pan Pastels but very faintly so you may not be able to see it.
The gorgeous little butterflies are made with my new Memory Box die and the sentiment ribbon is from Crafty Ribbons. The backing paper is from a Me to You Double sided paper pack called Spring Chic which I won from my lovely friend Asha, thank you lovely!
The little piece of Tuille is from That Craft Place FB shop. What a little gold mine that place is, but be warned, don't visit without your Credit Card!! LOL
The gorgeous flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and my stash.
So there you have it lovely peeps, my midway reminder for our Pink Princess challenge at Totally Tilda.
Hurry now!!

No Designer Papers at Crafty Ribbons

Happy Thursday morning to you lovely peeps!
Time once again for a new challenge at Crafty Ribbons.
Thanks for all your fabulous creations on our last challenge, you really are a crafty lot aren't you?
Please stop by the Crafty Ribbons Challenge blog and see if you were one of our handpicked top 3 or our Random Winner!
So, onto our new challenge.
This time the challenge is hosted by Cebelica and she has chosen
NO DESIGNER PAPERS
as her theme.
So here is my project for this challenge:
For this card I have cut three different sized frames with my Silhouette Cameo.
The borders of the frames are separate so I used my brayer to colour the main pieces and then put the frames back into place and left them white.
The sentiment is a Clarity Stamp available here.
I have used an Versamagic Chalk ink pad in Eggplant for the sentiment and the brayering.
The gorgeous ribbon is from Crafty Ribbons - although I am not sure they still stock it.
However, if you are looking for ribbon with a difference why not stop by and see just what they do have.  Trust me you won't be disappointed.
