Farewell Totally Tilda

No, not the title of our new challenge at Totally Tilda but an actual farewell from me to the Totally Tilda Design Team!
Yesterday I made the decision to step down from the DT which I had thought was quite a momentous decision for me.  As it turns out, it was made so much easier in so many ways.
There comes a time in our lives when we stand back and evaluate what we do, and how that fits in (or not) with the way our lives are going at that time.
Yesterday was one of those times for me!
Suffice to say - times change and it is time for me to do the new things I want to do.
I have had a ball on the Totally Tilda DT and have had the good fortune to work alongside some of THE most talented designers I have ever come across.
Girls, I wish you well in your future on the Totally Tilda DT.  I will still be around to stalk  follow you in blogland and I hope that you will stick with me too.
************
I HAVE CANDY IF YOU ARE INTERESTED - POST IS PINNED AT THE TOP OF MY BLOG UNTIL 10 NOVEMBER
*************
Well the new challenge is:
TILDA WITH FRUIT
(There are some rules with this challenge so please stop by the Totally Tilda challenge blog and have a good read - after all it would be a shame for you to put in lots of hard work on your gorgeous creations and then find out that it doesn't fit the challenge rules)
***********
We are sponsored for this challenge by Sir Stampalot

The Fantastic Prize is these 2 Magnolia stamps.
 ********************
Tilda Sparkles
Shiny Tilda with candles

So here is the card I made for the new challenge:
I have used Cherry Tilda which you can get at Sir Stampalot .  She is coloured with my copics and I have sat her on a log which is again a Magnolia stamp which you can get at Sir Stampalot.
The backing paper is from Stamping All Day where you will find a fabulous array of gorgeous goodies.
The red ribbon across the top, the sentiment ribbon and that gorgeous cherry ribbon is of course from Crafty Ribbons.
The tree and the fence die cuts were from my fabulous friend Liz (thanks sweetie)
The little cherry charm was from Bunny Zoe's Crafts.
I am entering this into the challenge at MDUC where the challenge is "Inspired by a Song" and my song inspiration was "Cherry Cherry" by Neil Diamond

The flowers are from my lovely blogging mummy (thanks sweets) and the bow is made using a fork, would you believe and the ribbon I made it with is, of course from Crafty Ribbons.

Midway Reminder - Totally Tilda #57

Hello peeps,
Well I just popped in to remind you that you have about a week left to submit your entries for our latest challenge at Totally Tilda.
Don't forget the challenge this time is:
HALLOWEEN TILDA
(That means a Halloween card with Tilda on it, not necessarily a Halloween Tilda image!)
********************
Remember we are sponsored this time by:
and the fabulous prize is:
(which means, if you haven't already, you could pop along and buy some of the fabulous new Christmas Tildas!!)
**********************
Here's the project I made for the midway reminder:
I decided to alter a little chocolate box for this Midway reminder. (And yes, it was empty!! LOL)
I used Broom Tilda for this one and coloured her with my Faber Castell pencils for a change.
I haven't used them for a while and I think I should use them a bit more often, what do you think??
That gorgeous "flower" on the top of the box is made with Halloween ribbons from, of course, Crafty Ribbons.  You really should pop in and have a look at their fabulous selection of Halloween ribbons and buttons too for that matter - they really are to die for!!
The Boo ribbon around the middle and the black and orange ribbon around the top and bottom is also from the Halloween selection at Crafty Ribbons.
The cute little bat and cat die cuts were a pressie from my blogging mummy!! Thanks sweetie - still using them!!
So there you go peeps, my little bit of inspiration for the Midway reminder.
I do hope you get the time to join in, we have had some fabulous entries already so what are you waiting for?? LOL

Bare Anya!

Oooh, you naughty lot, get yer minds out the gutter!! LOL
When I say Bare Anya, I don't mean she hasn't got any clothes on I mean there are no embellishments on my card!!  Tut tut!
That is the latest challenge at Anyone for Anya and this is the card I have made for the challenge.
This is one of the Miss Anya Scarves collection from The Greeting Farm, cute ain't she??
The image is coloured with my copics and the die cut is a nestabilitie.  The background is shaded with pearlescent chalks just to make it less stark.
I cut four pieces of card from my DCWV paper pad "Linen Closet" and made a frame around the edge and then cut one other piece and added it behind the image.
The sentiment is a die cut one I have had for ages and I have added Distress Ink to the base.  It's good because the colour stains the white but the silver stays silver! Clever eh?
Here is a close up of the image.
Thanks for stopping by peeps.

Children's Birthday - Crafty Ribbons DT Card

Happy Thursday morning to you lovely peeps!
Time once again for a new challenge at Crafty Ribbons.
Thanks for all your fabulous creations on our last challenge, you really are a crafty lot aren't you?
Please stop by the Crafty Ribbons Challenge blog and see if you were one of our handpicked top 3 or our Random Winner!
So, onto our new challenge.
This time the challenge is hosted by the lovely Bonnie.
Bonnie has chosen the theme of:
CHILDREN'S BIRTHDAY
Remember it doesn't have to be a card so long as it is for a Child's birthday it can be anything you want.
****************
Here is the lovely prize this time:
**************
So here is my project for this challenge:
This was made for the daughter of a friend who was having a little pedal car for her birthday so I thought it was quite appropriate.  The image is from Digital Delights - Sadly I think he is discontinued now.  However, you should pop in and have a look at Wendy's other images - they are soooo cute!!
I've used a mixture of pencils and flexmarkers to colour the image.  The die cuts are made with my spellbinders scalloped circle nestabilities.
The sentiment is computer generated.
The cherry blossom flowers are from Wild Orchid and that gorgeous pink polka dot ribbon is, of course from Crafty Ribbons.
The background paper is a Magnolia paper.
So there you have it folks, my Children's Birthday Card.
Please stop by the challenge blog and have a look at the rest of team Buttons creations and remember to stop by next week too and see some more fabulous creations by the Bows team.
Can't wait to see all your fabulous Children's birthday cards.

Digital Card!

Hi all,
Well, you remember my layout using my daughter's holiday photos with her boyfriend??  Well it only got me a top 3 place at Digitally Sweet!!  Yay!!
Well, after that success I decided I'd give it another go.
Well the challenge this time was to produce a card front.
So here is my 100% digitally produced card front using my Craft Artist Professional 2.
I used elements and background papers from the Diamond Hearts folder which comes with the programme.
I actually did the inside too.....
and the back....
So I've printed it all off and put it together as a card ready to send.
So, I'm just off to enter this now into the latest challenge at Digitally Sweet.
Thanks for stopping by.

Spooky goings on at Totally Tilda

Hello bloggy friends.
I hope this Sunday finds you well and happy?
Well, as it is Sunday that means there is another new challenge over at the Totally Tilda challenge blog.
Firstly though, I would just like to say thank you for all your wonderful entries on the last challenge.
It always makes it hard to choose a winner/top 3 but that's part of the fun!
So what are we going to tempt you with this time??
Well the new challenge is:
HALLOWEEN TILDA
Remember folks our challenge is called Totally TILDA and that means we only accept Tilda images on your entries.  So no Edwins please (unless he is accompanying the ever lovely Tilda of course! LOL)
**************
For this challenge we are sponsored by the fabulous Nicky at:
and the prize on offer this fortnight is:
****************
So here is the card I made for the new challenge:
I am trying to get used to a new camera so you will have to bear with me for a while as I suss it out!!
So I used this cute little devil Tilda and sat her on a log (which again is a Magnolia stamp).  She is coloured with my Copics.
The tree in the background is a Clarity Stamp (well two actually) called - would you believe - split tree.  It comes in two parts and there are leaves to go on it too but I just wanted it to look bare and a bit sinister.
The little black cat is a die cut - thanks mummy!!
The background paper is done on my Craft Artist 2 and I added a fabulous organza double bow to finish it off.  The birds (well actually they are supposed to be bats!!) are also a Clarity stamp.
I'm actually pleased with the card but just need to get those photos right!!
Hope you like it folks.
Please hop on over to the Totally Tilda challenge blog and join in with our challenge - who knows, you might just win!!
Have fun peeps.
