Pretty in pink - MW Reminder Totally Tilda

Hello peeps,
Well I just popped in to remind you that you have about a week left to submit your entries for our latest challenge at Totally Tilda.
Don't forget the challenge this time is:
PRINCESS TILDA IN A PINK DRESS
Remember, your Tilda MUST be wearing a crown or a tiara and her dress must be pink to be in with a chance of winning the fabulous prize which this fortnight comes from the lovely Ali and Tony at Crafty Ribbons

********************
Here's the card I made for the midway reminder:
Once again I have used one of the fabulous pre-scored step cards from Which Craft.  This fabulous company has oodles of wonderful pre-scored cards of all varieties.  Look out for my pop up card coming soon!!!
I have used three Magnolia images on this card, Tilda (obviously), Tilda's Horse and Castle from the latest prince and princesses release.  All the images are coloured with a mixture of Copics, Flexmarkers and Prismacolour Pencils.
That gorgeous flower was from a lovely lady called Victoria on Ebay (I'll be back later to add in her link).
I'm not sure you can actually see it but I have added pink glitter to Tilda's tiara!  Well you just do, don't you??
The gorgeous ribbon (which actually says "My Princess" and has little crowns on it, is of course from Crafty Ribbons and you can see the full range here.
The grasses across the bottom of the card are a Clarity Stamp.

Challenges:
Just Magnolia - Use more than one stamp
Magnolia Mania - Step Card

Flower Power at Crafty Ribbons

Happy Thursday to you lovely peeps, sorry I am a bit late with this post!!
Time once again for a new challenge at Crafty Ribbons.
Thanks for all your fabulous creations on our last challenge, you really are a crafty lot aren't you?
Please stop by the Crafty Ribbons Challenge blog and see if you were one of our handpicked top 3 or our Random Winner!
So, onto our new challenge.
This time the challenge is hosted by the lovely Pinky who chose
FLOWERS
as our theme.
So here is my project for this challenge:
I just bought some papers off my very good friend Lynne at Crafts 4 You - Lynne is closing her shop down and so if you are looking for a bargain why not pop in and have a look at what she has left!

So I cut out a flower pot shape from one of the fabby papers I bought added a couple of skeleton leaves (not that you can see them mind!!), used some of the mulberry flowers I bought, added some buttons (if you can't get these at Lynne's shop then call in at Crafty Ribbons as they have oodles of buttons to choose from!)

I used twine to sew the buttons in place, added a little tag, stamped a Thank You sentiment (from Clarity Stamps) on tied a ribbon around the "pot", added a bow - added a ribbon down the side and voila!! Naturally the ribbon is from Crafty Ribbons and are both part of the new Spring collection.  If you haven't been and had a look at them yet, you really should!!
So why not come and join in with our challenge at Crafty Ribbons and you will be in with a chance of winning this fabulous prize:
Aren't they just the most gorgeous buttons you ever did see??

Hello Softpencil fans.
Time once again for another Softpencil Tuesday card featuring those cute digi images from Elizabeth.

This week I have chosen to use Michu and Ratiny making Cupcakes which you can buy here!
Whilst you are there, why not have a look around, there are some gorgeous digi images as well as digi papers and a whole lot more!!
I have coloured the image with my Copics and matted the image onto some pink card and brown card to echo the colours in the chipboard cakes and the fabulous papers (thanks Ali!!)
Here is a close up of the gorgeous image.  Aren't they just the sweetest pair??
Well, remember to stop by the rest of the DT blogs and have a look at their fabulous cards.

Pretty as a Princess - in a pink dress!!

Hello bloggy friends.
I hope this Sunday finds you well and happy?
Well, as it is Sunday that means there is another new challenge over at the Totally Tilda challenge blog.
Firstly though, I would just like to say thank you for all your wonderful entries on the last challenge.
It always makes it hard to choose a winner/top 3 but that's part of the fun!
So what are we going to tempt you with this time??
Well the new challenge is:
PRINCESS TILDA IN A PINK DRESS
It must be a princess Tilda of some description, old or new.  As a guide I'd go for any Tilda image wearing a crown/tiara.
*************
So here is the card I made for the new challenge:
For now I can only put one picture in here because yesterday my computer went bang on me.  That's right folks - lost all my DT work - well at least for now.  My DH is working on getting my lost stuff back for me but it won't be for a few days yet so for now I'm starting from scratch!
The card is one of a fantastic range of ready folded, pre-measured cards from a fabulous company called Which-Craft. Why not pop over and take a look at their website they have some fab stuff.
Anyway, my image is coloured with my Copics as is the sweet dinosaur. The die cut tree and the fence were sent to me by my sweet Nana friend Liz (MWAH!!).  The paper on the front of the card is from the new Magnolia collection as is the punched pink paper on the back "step" which has been punched using my edgeabilities.  All the flourishes are Marianne creatables dies and the pink flower in the middle is a Magnolia Doo-Hickey.  All the flowers in the corner are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the pin is from my stash.  I have sat sweet Tilda on a little stool which is a stamp from a Digital Delights stamp set called Best Friends.
So there you go folks.  If and when I get all my pics back I will come and add some more into my post, keep your fingers crossed for me!! :(
Challenges:
Simply Magnolia - Card but not a square
Magnolia Down Under  - More than one fold (hope my stepper card counts)

Handmade Flowers at Crafting for all Seasons

Well, here we with another new challenge at Crafting for all Seasons.
Thank you so much for all your lovely wonderful creations for our last challenge.
Remember to stop by the challenge blog and see if you were amongst our winners.
So the new challenge is:
HANDMADE FLOWERS
For this challenge we are lucky to be sponsored by:
BUGABOO
Who will be giving 7 images to the winner.
******************
So here is my card for this challenge:

I found a tutorial for this whilst mooching around blogland and just had to give it a go!
Basically this is just circles punched out of patterned cardstock and then the sides are folded in to make a cone shape and then they are all stuck down in a flower shape.
Because my cardstock was white on one side I chose to ink the edges of the folds and then just sponge a little bit of ink into the middle of the flower.  I added a red shiny brad into the centre but I guess you could use a button and add a bit of thread too if you wanted to.

Just to finish it off I added a piece of fabulous "Congratulations" ribbon available at Crafty Ribbons and some little red gem stones at the top of the card.
I'm really pleased with how it turned out and if anyone knows the blog where I saw this tutorial please let me know so that I can give credit to the right person.  Thanks.

Softpencil Tuesday

Hello Softpencil fans.
Time once again for another Softpencil Tuesday card featuring those cute digi images from Elizabeth.
Firstly, I hope you all had an absolute ball with the blog hop and that loads of you won some super prizes.
So, here is the card I have made for this week:
It features the lovely image Growing Flowers in Pots which you can get here!

The image is coloured with my Copics and the DP is from a Prima pad called Botanicals Collection.

That frame that the sentiment is on is also cut from the same pad. The best wishes stamp is a Clarity Stamp.

The die down the edge is from the Scrapping Cottage and the flower at the bottom is made from a Whiff Of Joy die cut called Nested Flower.  I have cut it twice and layered them all on top of one another.
The ribbon across the top corner is, of course, from Crafty Ribbons.
See you next Tuesday!!
