ANYTHING GOES WITH RIBBON
Here is the prize that is on offer today:

So here is my project for this challenge:
I have used this sweet little image from Sugar Nellie called Web-Knitter.
How apt for these fabulous new Knitting/Sewing ribbons and buttons from Crafty Ribbons.
Don't you just love that tape measure ribbon at the bottom??
These ribbons and buttons all come in the same colour ways and you can see them all here at Crafty Ribbons. Plus there are a variety of sentiment ribbons like this one too.
I have to be honest and say I pinched the idea for the rolled up tape from my teamie Carol. Thanks for the inspiration sweetie! "Smiles"
So why not add a bit of ribbon to your next creation and enter it into our Anything Goes challenge over at Crafty Ribbons - go on - you know you want to! LOL

Tri-fold Card for CCC

Hi all,
Well it is Sunday and that means it is time to post my next card for the Christmas Card Club.
This time the lovel Debi has chosen the theme of a tri-fold card.
Debi, I hope this is what you had in mind hunni.
I used a piece of cream A4 card and used my Crafter's Companion card folder board (yeah, I know that's not the right name!! LOL) to make a tri-fold card.

The backing papers are from the Nitwits selection at Lili of the Valley.
They are fabulous quality and sucvh gorgeous colours.
I have used four Clarity Stamps on this card. The little corner stamp on the front, the sentiment, the little star and the sentiment on the inside flap.

I will try and pop back later with a pic of the inside.
Hope you likey.

The pretty little ribbon

So here is my creation for this challenge:
I have coloured this pretty little Tilda with my Prismacolour pencils and have used my copics to do all the hightlighting on it.  The papers are from a  paper pad called
the circular die cut is one of Susie's which I have distressed with DI
The butterfly is one I bought off Ebay but can't remember the seller, sorry.  It wasn't this colour originally, I changed it using my copics.  I added three little pearls down the middle.
The sentiment is one my lovely friend Lynne used to make - thanks hunni.
I chose the ribbon as it fitted with the challenge, and the flower is a plain cream paper flower from Wild Orchid which I stamped with my DI ink pad.
So there you go peeps, hope you like my creation.

Valentine Tilda - MW Reminder

Hello folks,
Just popped in to remind you that you have about a week left to enter the current challenge over at Totally Tilda.
This time the challenge is:
VALENTINE TILDA
(Now don't forget, that means TILDA not Valentino)
***********
And don't forget we are sponsored by:

and the prize is:

So here is my Midway creation for you:
I have used Tilda with Heart Lace and again I have gone for non-traditional valentine colours.
I have used my heart PATP as my frame and I have used a heart embossing folder on the dark grey paper underneath the image (although you can't really see much of it)
Think I went a bit OTT on the flowers here, all of which are from Wild Orchid Crafts, as is the crystal stem..
The bow is made with ribbon from Crafty Ribbons and the sentiment is stamped and then cut out with a scalloped circle punch.
I have used my prismacolour pencils to colour the image on this occasion.
So there you go peeps, your Midway Reminder for the current challenge at Totally Tilda.
Hope you get time to join in!!

Button it Up at Crafty Ribbons

Oh blast!!
I am so late with this post - totally went out of my head!!!
Well the latest challenge over at Crafty Ribbons is being hosted by the lovely Lorraine and the theme is:
BUTTON IT UP!
So that means we want to see you use buttons on your creations this time.
And because the challenge is about ribbons, just look at the fabulous prize on offer:
3 button boxes
(contents may vary)
***********
Here is my card for this challenge:
I have used the gorgeous Fancy SB Sew image from Bugaboo - I love these cute images and this one lends itself so beautifully to these fabulous new ribbons and buttons from Crafty Ribbons.
The new ribbons all have a knitting or sewing theme and follow certain colours.  The buttons follow the same colour scheme too so work beautifully together.
I have used some gold wire to follow the thread on the image and I'm really pleased with how it looks.  What do you think??

Right on to the new challenge.
The theme for this fortnight's challenge is:
VALENTINE TILDA
So a card or creation to do with Valentine's Day and remember it must feature our Tilda.
Please do not use the Magnolia Valentino image or your entry won't count!!
Pop over to the blog just to check on the rules for this one.
This time we are lucky to be sponsored by:
and the prize on offer is:

So here is my creation for this challenge:
Now I didn't fancy going for the usual red card this Valentine's Day, so I went with these aqua blues instead.
I have used Tilda with Heart Balloons and coloured it with my Copics.
The banner is a Poppystamps die and I have used some mini stamps to add the "I luv u" sentiment.
Well, that's how the youth of today write it isn't it?? - Text speak! LOL
That gorgeous flower is one I bought from Suzanne at Just Love Stamping.  Sadly I don't think she makes them anymore but they are just fabulous, so thanks Suzanne.
The leaf die under the flowers is a Marianne creatable and the flourish is one I had from ebay.
The lovely heart ribbon is from Crafty Ribbons, of course.
I'm quite pleased with how this turned out actually so I hope you like it too?
Looking forward to seeing your fabulous creations for this latest challenge at Totally Tilda.
Have fun everyone.

It's Only Words.........

Hello all,
Well it's Sunday and that means it is time for the next Christmas Card Club challenge.
This time the theme has been set by ..............
ME!!
So this time I decided I only wanted the girls to use Words.
Just words, no images, just words.
Obviously they can still use embellishments but the main feature of the card must be the words.
So here is my card:
So for this card I have used my Spellbinders Nestabilities.
I have inked the one at the back with Broken China TH Distress Ink.
The smaller one on the top I have just inked the edges the same way.
The fabulous sentiment is from Clarity Stamps.
Have you seen that Clarity Stamps is going to have it's own challenge blog????
Soooooo exciting!!
Click on the link in my sidebar and get signed up ready for when they start!!
That gorgeous snowflake stamp is also a Clarity Stamp and I have embossed it with WOW embossing glitter in Blue Blast.
I'm really chuffed with how this came out.
Hope you like it.

Here is just one little project I did today:
This is one of the button boxes you can get from Crafty Ribbons and I have used two different new ribbons on here.
You will see the wide "knit" ribbon - used three pieces of this around the box and the cut button ribbon too, which is under those little buttons - I used the same colour buttons as is on the ribbon.  I also made the little handle on the box from the same ribbon.
Now not only are there all these fabulous new ribbons there are also new buttons too.
Why not pop over to Crafty Ribbons and have a look at all the fabulous designs and colours.
You won't be disappointed.
