Happy Thursday morning to you lovely peeps!
Time once again for a new challenge at Crafty Ribbons.
Thanks for all your fabulous creations on our last challenge, you really are a crafty lot aren't you?
Please stop by the Crafty Ribbons Challenge blog and see if you were one of our handpicked top 3 or our Random Winner!
So, onto our new challenge.
This time the challenge is hosted by Lorraine:
The theme this time is:
ANYTHING GOES WITH RIBBON
From now on every other challenge will be an Anything goes challenge but the only rule is you MUST use ribbon!
*************
Just look at this fabulous prize too:
So here is my project for this challenge:
I have one of the Miss Anya Garland stamps from The Greeting Farm and coloured her with my Faber Castell Pencils.
The die cut is one of my nestabilities - don't use these nearly enough!!
Here's a close up of the image.  Those gorgeous flowers on the left are all from Wild Orchid
The Heart die cut is a Doohickey (thanks Liz, MWAH)
The buttons are all from Crafty Ribbons
The two pins are from Bunny Zoe's Crafts
The sentiment is one I have had in my stash for ages.
The gorgeous papers are from one of the Nitwits range at Lili of the Valley called Bonnets and Bow Ties. (You should pay a visit because they have just bought out five new pads - gorge!!)
So folks there you have it.
I hope you get time to join in with our Anything Goes with Ribbon challenge.

Boop Boop bee Doop!!

Hi all,
Just popped in to show you a commission card I made recently.
My brief was Betty Boop and Pink for a 16th Card.
So here you go then
I found a picture of Betty Boop that I liked and chose all the other bits to match.
The fabulous pink lace is available here at Crafty Ribbons.
Now be warned there are loads of colours to choose from so if you decide to go have a look, best remember your purse!! LOL
Those gorgeous little resin roses are from Teresa at My Crafty Heart

The wording is printed on my computer.  The little butterfly and the flourish I bought from an ebay seller but I can't for the life of me remember who! Sorry. I just used my copics to change the colour to match my card.
The little charms are from my stash.

All those gorgeous flowers are from Wild Orchid who have such a fabulous selection of flowers to choose from I always come away with more than I went for!! LOL  Never be rich me!
So there you have it then.
Thanks for stopping by.

Inspiration Time at Totally Tilda!

Hello all.
Well it's Sunday again and that means it is time for the new challenge over at Totally Tilda.
Please remember to hop on over to the Totally Tilda challenge blog and have a look to see if you were one of our lucky winners/Top 3.
Remember our winners and top three are chosen by Susie and the Design Team.
No random.org here! So if you won it's because we loved your creation.
************
Right on to the new challenge.
The theme for this fortnight's challenge is:
PHOTO INSPIRATION
So use the picture to take your inspiration from and don't forget that our sweet Tilda MUST be the main attraction on your creation.
************
This time we are lucky to be sponsored by:
and the prize this time is a £10 voucher for their fabby store.
***************
So here is my creation for this challenge:
I have used papers from a Black Market Paper Society pad called Vintage Romance, there are some gorgeous papers in this pad.  The only thing I don't like is that they are all double sided so you have to make some painful choices!! LOL
So the Tilda I have used is Ladybug Hearts Tilda and she is coloured with my Faber Castell pencils for a change.  The shading in the background is done with watercolour pencils.
I will probably add a sentiment to this at some point but that depends on who wants it and for what!!
The ribbon is from Hobbycraft and the rosette is from an ebay seller whose name I can't remember, sorry.
I hope you like what you see peeps and I hope you join in with our challenge too.

Challenges:

Christmas Card Club

Hi all,
Well Christmas has been and gone and it's time to.......
Make my Christmas cards!
For next Christmas.
This year I am definitely going to be organised and get them all done well in advance so no-one misses out.
Well that's the theory anyway.
So over at the Christmas Card Club it is Carol's turn to start the ball rolling and her theme is:
NO DESIGNER PAPERS!
When I first saw the challenge I thought I would struggle but then I remembered I had bought a new Indigo Blu stamp set and my new Pan Pastels.
So I set to work and here is what I came up with!
I used my Pan Pastels to do the background and then stamped the image (the sleigh image) in black Versafine.  Then I used my Clarity Stamp Christmas Trees stamp and stamped that below.
Then I cut the card into three pieces and backed it onto some dark navy card.
Then stuck these onto a white card base.
To finish off, I added a piece of Twas the Night ribbon from Crafty Ribbons.
So, there you go then, no designer papers. Woohoo.
Right I'm off to make my next Christmas Card now!

It's Wheely Good at OLL

Hello bloggy friends.  Well, it is Monday again and that means it is time for another fabulous challenge at Ooh La La Creations.  Firstly, please let me say a big thank you for all the entries that we had for the last challenge.  Please stop by the Ooh La La Challenge Blog to see who our lucky winners were.  Remember, there is no Random Org here, the Design Team take it in turns to pick their favourite and two runners up - so if you won it's because we loved your creation!!

So, onto the next challenge and this time it is:
WHEELY GOOD!
So that means, whatever your creation is we need to see wheels of some sort on it please.
*******************
Here is the card I made for this challenge:
This image from the Merry Christmas folder is from the new CD from Ooh La La Creations.
Look out for the new show on Create and Craft on January 27th with Hayley West.
I have used backing papers, ribbons and bows from the new CD which is called Yesterday's Memories.

I'm not sure you can see it but I have added glamour dust to the tree and stars on this image to add a wee bit of sparkle.
***********************
If you have never used an Ooh La La CD before then believe me when I say you probably wouldn't need anything else because everything you require is on the CD.  So if you do have a spare minute then pop along to the store and have a look at what is on offer.  If you want to try before you buy there are plenty of freebies on offer too, just to get a taster so to speak.
******************
Please remember to stop by the rest of the Design Team and see their fabulous creations (links on the DT tab at the top of this page).  They have all worked really hard to offer you some inspiration, so please remember to leave them some love if you pay a visit.

This time the challenge is:
TILDA IN HER TROUSERS
And don't forget we are sponsored by:

and the prize is:

So here is my Midway creation for you:
The papers are from a Prima pad called Botanicals. Gonna have to get another one of these pads 'cos I love these papers.
Tilda is coloured with my Prismacolour pencils this time.  I have used liquid pearls for the flowers.

The begonia (honestly that's what it is supposed to be!! LOL) is made from a Tonic Die and Pad set.  Punched from the same paper pad and I've added Victorian Velvet distress ink before I took it out of the die.
The sentiment is a Clarity Stamp stamped in TH Pine Needles and shadow stamped using Bundled Sage.
The ribbon is from Crafty Ribbons and the die cuts I had from a seller on E-Bay.
So I hope you like my card and also that you will get time to join in with our current challenge at Totally Tilda.

Tilda in Trousers!

Hello all.

Remember our winners and top three are chosen by Susie and the Design Team.
No random.org here! So if you won it's because we loved your creation.

Right on to the new challenge.
The theme for this fortnight's challenge is:
TILDA WEARING TROUSERS!
There are lots of gorgeous Tilda images where she is wearing trousers so I am really looking forward to seeing which images you all use.  Don't forget your creation must feature Tilda.
This time we are lucky to be sponsored by:
The lovely Nikki at:
and the prize on offer is:
****************
So here is my creation for this challenge:
For this card I have used Tilda wearing Butterfly Jeans, this is one of my favourite Tilda images.
She is coloured with Copics and the background is a Tilda Bench stamp from the Pink Collection a while ago, and two Clarity Stamps.  I have used my Pan Pastels on the background - just loving these gorgeous chalks! Can see me buying several more sets in the months to come! LOL
Here's a little close up of the image.
You will see I have used the Tim Holtz Clock Die in the background, and again I have used the Pan Pastels to add some colour to it.
The gorgeous lace is from Crafty Ribbons and comes in a variety of beautiful colours.
The flower is again a Tim Holtz die to which I have added some Distress Ink to try and match the lace.
The beautiful pin is from my very Sparkling Crafting Buddy Mandy - MWAH - thanks hun - not got many left now!! LOL
Finally I added a tag and used a Clarity Stamp sentiment.  I used an embossing ink pad on the tag and then added some pan pastels chalk - it gives a lovely aged look to the tag.  The little piece of polka dot ribbon on the tag is again from Crafty Ribbons.
So folks, there you have it.
I hope you can find the time to join us at Totally Tilda this time and I can't wait to see all your fabulous creations.
