Under the Sea

Hi all,
I am so sorry I haven't been here yet again.
The only post I have put up recently is the DT post for Crafty Ribbons latest challenge. Me Bad!!
Talking of Crafty Ribbons - have you seen their latest challenge???
It's our blog birthday so we are having a bit of a bash.
All the DT girls have joined in for this one and there are some fabulous prizes.
Nice easy challenge - Anything Birthday - how easy is that??
Why not pop over to the challenge blog and have a look and even join in - you never know do you???

So on to my card for today.
This is another image from Aurora Wings - this one is called Ribbon Mermaid.
I have coloured this with my Copics for a change.
I am really pleased with how the skin came out on here - I think my colouring classes may just be paying off!! Lol
The two die cut shapes were made on my Silhouette and then brushed with Distress Ink to try and make it look like waves??
The gorgeous pin is one of my lovely friend Mandy's at A Sprinkling of Glitter and the dotty ribbon is a new one from Crafty Ribbons.  The sentiment is a KaiserCraft stamp which I've had for ages. The gorgeous flowers are all from Wild Orchid Crafts.
So there you go folks.

And why would that be I hear you ask???
Well this is a rather special challenge for two reasons.

IT'S OUR BLOG BIRTHDAY!!
So we are having a Birthday Celebration.
We have three lovely sponsors with us for this challenge:

The Lovely
***********
So on top of some lovely prizes the Top 3 will also get the chance to be a Guest Designer with us.
Each winner will Guest with a different CR Team.
So let's see those Birthday Creations.
Here is what I made:
I have used the Birthday Bears image from Bugaboo and as you can see I went with the Really Bright theme!!
The image is coloured with my Polychromo Pencils, just for a change.
The splashes in the background are done with a Clarity Stamp which comes as part of a set of Dolphins, really cool.
The gorgeous ribbon is one of the new ones from Crafty Ribbons - isn't it fabulous?
So peeps, I am looking forward to seeing your lovely creations.

Feeling Sprite-ly!

Hello all
Well, it feels like ages since I have been here.
I am so sorry for not posting more regularly but I promise to try and do better from now on!!
So today I have popped by to show you a card I made featuring one of the gorgeous Aurora Wings Sprites.
This one is called Snapdragon Sprite and is just one of the many Sprite images you can find in the Aurora Wings Etsy store.
So here you go then:
I have coloured the image with my Spectrum Noir Pencils, love how these pencils blend.
I have also added some glitter to the little dragon's wings, not sure you can see it though.
The backing papers are from Lili of the Valley pad called Bonnets & Bow Ties.
The flowers are from Wild Orchid and Sweet Lilac Flowers and the cute polka dot ribbon is a new one from Crafty Ribbons.
So I shall be entering this card into the following challenges:

Charmed Stamping Blog Candy

Hi lovely peeps.
Oh dear I do seem to be neglecting my blog lately don't I?
What with Baby Shower invites, banners, badges, stickers and Wedding Stationery as well as baby knitting (for a friend) and cross stitch there just aren't enough hours in the day!!
Anyways, I just popped in to tell you about a wee blog candy over at Charmed Stamping. The lovely Regan is giving away a copy of Creative Cardmaking. This copy is issue #42 which has a CD of Saturated Canary images free.  So if you love SC images and want to be in with a chance of winning this fabulous copy then hop on over the Charmed Stamping and join in the fun.
