Ever Hopeful - A Layout

Hello peeps.
Just thought I would share this wee layout with you all.
I am so enjoying my layouts these days that I thought I ought to branch out and include something other than my darling grandson.
So, here for his digital layout debut is my darling husband.
This was last September in Anglesey.
He actually went out and bought a child's fishing rod ('cos that's all we could find in September!!) and bought it back to the lodge full of hope that he would catch something.
Now what did he use as bait I hear you ask??
Well as we couldn't find a bait shop either he used cheese and bread - I ask you!! Lol
Anyway, the only interest he got in his cheese and bread was from the dozens of ducks on the lake! hahaha.
Bless him - I think he was really disappointed.
Still, at least I got to read my book whilst he was "fishing" Lol.
I used a Digikit called "Fishing" appropriately enough and put it all together in my Craft Artist programme.
So, I am going to enter this into the challenge at Digitally Sweet which is Anything Goes.

Just popped in to remind you that you have about a week left to enter the current challenge over at Totally Tilda.
This time the challenge is:
MASKING

gif maker
And the Prize is;
So here is my Midway creation for you:
I have masked Tilda in the Garden with the Invite stamp and then added a little sentiment to it. (It's true too!)
This card is for my very lovely friend's birthday and she should have received it by now so I am safe putting it on here.  I hope she liked it!!
The background papers are from Lili of the Valley and the pad is called Promises.
The flowers are all from Wild Orchid Crafts
The little Happy Birthday is a Clarity Stamp and fitted this just perfectly.
The Happy Birthday ribbon is of course from Crafty Ribbons HERE

So folks there you have it.
I hope you can find the time to join in with the MASKING challenge.
Can't wait to see what you come up with.

Oh so blue!!

Hi all,
Just popping in to show you a card I made before Christmas.
You will remember, those of you who visited my Christmas Advent posts for Crafty Ribbons before Christmas, that I made a card using Clarity Stamps for my Mum to give to folk in Lanzarote.
Well, I actually made two which were similar so here is the other one:
Again,I have used only one ink pad on this card which if I remember rightly was Denim Adirondack.
I used the trees and their mantle stamps and added some glitter to the trunks and to the snow on the ground.
There is a little hedgerow stamp that comes with the tree/mantle set and this is what I have used across the bottom.
I used one of the masks from the sun/moon mask set from Clarity Stamp to try and make it look like a frosty night scene.  The gorgeous little Deer and mother stamp is also from Clarity.
Finally I used the Letterbox kit to add the sentiment across the bottom (Happy Christmas in Spanish).  I was going to add baker's twine to each letter but I thought it would distract from the picture so changed my mind.
So there you go then, the second of my two card commission.  I do hope they were well received.
I would like to enter this into the following challenges:

So here is my creation for this challenge:
So I have masked Cutie Circus Tilda on to the chair and then surrounded her with masked presents.
Isn't she a lucky girl getting all those presents!! Bet I don't get that many. Lol.
So she is coloured with my Copics and I have coloured the outside of the die cut circle with ink using a stencil brush.
The Happy Birthday ribbon is from Crafty Ribbons HERE
The little flowers are made from Martha Stewart Air Dry clay as is the little ribbon at the bottom of the circle.
So there you have it folks the first of this year's Totally Tilda cards.
See you back here next week for the MW reminder.

Well, how exciting - only got a top 3 place at Lasting Memories with my Vroom Vroom layout!! YAY!!
Thank you ladies.
So with my new found confidence, here's another one.
So you have to choose a DT member and lift one of their layouts and base your own around it.
So I scraplifted Haven's layout from June 26th 2013.
These are all pics of my lovely grandson Carter in differing states of play.
Doesn't he look studious in that bottom piccy?? Lol.
Love him.

My lovely little Santa!!

Hi all,
Just had to show you my first layout for 2014.

He looked so cute in his Santa outfit on Christmas Day I just couldn't resist.
So here you go then.
I have used a kit from Daisy Trail called Paper Christmas.
I started out with one of the Scrapbook Page layouts and changed it around a bit.
