Sweet Stuff!!

Hi all,
Just popped in to invite you to take part in my new Blog Candy.
I have decided to have a Candy more regularly so keep your eyes peeled for them and help to spread the word.
There are no rules to speak of other than:
1.  Be a follower of my blog (no candy only blogs please - I will check!)
2. Pop a piccy in your sidebar.
3. If you do a little post about my Candy you can have a second entry.
And that, as they say, is that!
So, what have I got on offer today I hear you ask??
Well, today I have this:
This is the first in a series of CD Rom/Clear Stamp collections from Polka Doodles.
There are 22 printable A4 papers and a co-ordinating Alphabet on the CD and the super clear stamps are made to co-ordinate with all those elements.
As Nicky says on the reverse of the box.....
"You'll run out of paper before you run out of ideas!"
So, leave your name with Mr Linky and I will draw a winner next Sunday.
Thanks for stopping by folks.

Show us your ribbons!!

Happy Thursday morning to you lovely peeps!
Time once again for a new challenge at Crafty Ribbons.
Thanks for all your fabulous creations on our last challenge, not quite as many entries as usual but never mind I guess we are all really busy at this time of the year.
Please stop by the Crafty Ribbons Challenge blog and see if you were one of our handpicked top 3 or our Random Winner!
So, onto our new challenge.
This time the challenge is hosted by Pinky and she wants to see:
AT LEAST TWO RIBBONS
(Quite apt for a ribbon challenge don't you think??) LOL.
So here is my project for this challenge:
This little gift box is made using a fabulous template from Whichcraft - ahem my New favourite store!! Lol.
I used Broken China Distress Ink on all the edges. Christmas Tilda with Cat is coloured with my copics.
The papers are both from Magnolia.
The pearls are from my stash.
I have also used a couple of pale blue feathers behind these cute little Tilda with Dove images.
To get the images facing different directions I stamped the one straight on to my card and then reflection stamped the other on to card using my brayer. It is the first time I've tried this method and although you can see one image is lighter than the other because you can't see them both together I think they'll be fine!
The poinsettia is made using a Marianne Design Creatable die and I've added a silver brad to the middle.

The two ribbons (although they are the same) are from this year's Christmas Selection at Crafty Ribbons.
So there you go then. I hope you like it.

The die cut is from my good friend Susie Sugar (MWAH!)
The ribbon is from Crafty Ribbons (naturally!!)
The stamped image in the bottom left hand corner is from a Freebie Edwardian Diary collection which came with my Cardmaking and Papercraft magazine.
The butterfly is from my stash.

At the NEC

Hi all,
Just popped in to show you my pics from yesterday at the NEC.
It is the one day in the year when my bestest crafting buddy Ali (aka Dragonlady) and myself meet up for a good old spending spree and a catch up!
The first person I popped in to see what Ali from Crafty Ribbons and her husband Tony!
Well Tony had run off somewhere and I forgot to take a piccy of him when I went back later! DOH!
I'll get you next year Tony!! LOL
Then we popped round to say Hi to Dean from Create and Craft
When I asked him why he was standing like this he said it looked like my camera was pointing to the floor!!  Silly Billy!!
Can't quite make up my mind about that 'Tache Dean!! LOL
I do have another piccy of Dean but I will leave it to Ali whether she shares that one or not as it has her in it too!! (But I will if she says I can)
And well, I bought a few things whilst I was there too!
Well, you just do don't you??
I don't think you can see it all clearly but maybe that's not a bad thing eh???? LOL
Thank you Ali for another brilliant Craft Show day, I had a ball.
So, best get on with some crafting then eh?  Can't let all these goodies go to waste.

Time for Candy!!!

Hello lovely peeps.
Well, there is no card from me today.
I just popped in to let you know about my Candy.
On 10 November I will be meeting up with my very good friend and crafting buddy Ali (aka Dragonlady) at the NEC for the Hobbycrafts Show.
So, what better way to share my excitement than to offer you all the chance to win some Candy.
Here are a couple of pics....
and in detail - the candy contains:
A set of Artemio clear stamps (Owl set)
One monochrome card making pack (enough to make 12 cards)
A set of alphabet flocked stickers
A Sweet November red rubber stamp - Clover Greenfield
A set of Blonde moments Christmas stamps
A set of stickopotamus flower stickers
A set of Jolee's boutique DIY elements
A pack of tags banners and labels (Christmas set)
3 packs of Studio G mini stamps
4 oriental card toppers
6 lengths of ribbon
a pack of blue crafting ribbons
a small bunch of cream roses
2 reels of metallic madeira thread
A pack of four Mei Flower black scottie dogs
An assortment of vellum and mulberry papers

Now this candy will stay open until Saturday 10 November and I will draw a winner on Sunday 11 November - if I have any energy left after the Saturday! LOL
So, what do you have to do?
Well, not a lot really.
1.  It would be nice if you were a follower. (Please no candy only blogs - I will be checking)
Don't follow me just to win the candy, please follow me because you like what I do - that would make me happy! :)
2. Post a link in your sidebar that I have candy on offer.
And, that's it!
I may even give out a surprise candy to one lucky winner who leaves a comment too!
If there are over 50 names in my linky I will add in extras too. I will add a piccy of the extras as and when we reach that target!
So, good luck to you all.

Sketch Time at Totally Tilda

Well, this feels weird!!
I am posting a Tilda card and submitting it into the current challenge at Totally Tilda!
Here is the sketch to follow:

And here is my take on it!
I have used my MS PATP for the background card.
Then the papers on top of that are from one of the gorgeous Lili of the Valley pads called Classic Christmas and I have matted the three papers onto red cardstock.
Tilda is coloured with my Prismacolour Pencils for a change and the background is an idea that I quite blatantly stole from my ex-teamie Brigitte.  Not quite sure it's as good as hers but it is my first attept.
The sentiment is a die cut Mini Message from Craftwork Cards.
The gorgeous red ribbon is from, of course Crafty Ribbons and the flowers are all from my stash and I've finished them off with a bit of Stickles.
So there you go, hope you like it.
Thanks for stopping by.

Challenge #32 at Crafty Ribbons

Happy Thursday morning to you lovely peeps!
Time once again for a new challenge at Crafty Ribbons.
Thanks for all your fabulous creations on our last challenge, you really are a crafty lot aren't you?
Please stop by the Crafty Ribbons Challenge blog and see if you were one of our handpicked top 3 or our Random Winner!
So, onto our new challenge.
This time the challenge is hosted by Karen and she has chosen the theme of:
NURSERY RHYMES
So your card/creation has to be based on a nursery rhyme.
(Please put in your post what the nursery rhyme is)
**************
So here is my project for this challenge:
I have used three images from Wendy at Digital Delights and merged them in my Craft Artist programme.
The image is coloured with my copics and I have simply added some twine and some fabulous Keep Calm and Carry On Ribbon from Crafty Ribbons.
Here is a close up of the images:
The last little touch is the use of that little bird stamp in the corner which is a Clarity Stamp.

Just look at the gorgeous prize we have on offer this time:

Aren't they just the cutest ribbons you ever saw???
Challenges:
Right then, that's me done for now.
Back soon folks.
