Oooh I is so chuffed!!

Hi all,

I just had to pop in and show you all, I got a top 5 place at the Aurora Wings Loris Fundraiser challenge over on Facebook the other week.

I have been so busy just lately, I just don't know where the time goes to and I meant to pop in and tell you before now.

So Mitzi Sato-Wiuff held a fundraiser for the Slow Loris campaign on her Facebook page recently.  If you made a donation you got a free image, and if it was over a certain amount you got two free images.

How cool is that?

So, I got two images and just had to colour them up, cos they is just too stinkin cute not to.

So here you go, the first one is the one that got me the Top 5 place:

and the other one is the extra entry I did.

I love them both and am really chuffed because I would never have done fur like this until I took Alyce's colouring classes over at Kit and Clowder.

For my project I have used this fabulous image:

and here is what I did with her.

The image is coloured with my Faber Castell Polychromos and I am really pleased with how it turned out. What do you think?

I was going to add some flowers and ribbon but to be honest I didn't want to detract from the fabulous image.

So here are a couple of close ups:

I love how her hair turned out.

I even added a few extra details to the tree!

And will you look at the highlights I added to her dress.

My colouring has changed so much since I signed up for Alyce Keegan's colouring classes over at Kit and Clowder and I still have so much to catch up on and learn.

Time for another challenge Baby!!

Hello all,

Time for another challenge over at Creatalicious.

I can't believe I forgot to post this card!!

That's the problem with getting my DT work done ahead of time.

Did the card, wrote the post, needed to add challenges........... Duh, Forgot to post!!!

Anyhooooo.....

This time the challenge is:

BABY!!

(Did you see what I did with my Post title?? Lol)

So, for this challenge I used a Saturated Canary image.
I just adore this image called Butterfly Baby

And here is what I made:

I decided to go with neutrals for this one rather than boy or girl and I kinda like it. What do you think?

Image is coloured with my Polychromo Pencils (again! lol)

This word is from one of the Clarity Wordchains which you can find here.

These wordchains are so so very useful and versatile, I love them all.

The background is done with Pan Pastels Chalk (although I'm not sure you can see it in this pic!!)
