So here is my Midway creation for you:

I used Strawberry Yummy Tilda for my card and coloured her with my Polychromo pencils.
I decided to keep this card quite plain and simple for a change.
So I used my Pan Pastels around the edge of the base card.
Added a Happy Birthday sentiment using a Clarity Stamp and some fabulous strawberry ribbon from Crafty Ribbons.  The gorgeous pin is from my beautiful friend Mandy at A Sprinkling of Glitter and the button is from Crafty Ribbons.
I'm quite pleased with how this turned out - hmmmm may do more of these simple cards. *smiles*
I do hope you can find the time to come over and join us at Totally Tilda, you still have time.
See you there.

Stitching - Real or Faux and a fond farewell

Hello bloggy friends.
Well, it is Monday again and that means it is time for another fabulous challenge at Ooh La La Creations
As the title of the post says, it is time for me to bid farewell to the lovely ladies at Ooh La La.
All good things come to an end at some point and so that time has come for me now.
I would just like to say a huge big thank you to Wendi and Emma for taking me into their little DT family and for having the confidence in me when they asked me to take over the running of the challenge blog when Anne stepped down.  I have had a fabulous time working with all the girls on the DT, past and present and I know that they will go on to bigger and better things.
I will miss you all.
Fortunately Anne couldn't stay away from crafting for long and has now also decided to resume her post as Challenge Blog organiser too so I hope you will continue to support OLL and Anne in the future.
*************
Right, best get on before I start blubbing!! Lol
Please let me say a big thank you for all the entries that we had for the last challenge.  Please stop by the Ooh La La Challenge Blog to see who our lucky winners were.  Remember, there is no Random Org here, the Design Team take it in turns to pick their favourite and two runners up - so if you won it's because we loved your creation!!

So, onto the next challenge and this time the theme has been chosen by Anne and is:
STITCHING REAL OR FAUX
Here is the card I made for this challenge:

This is another totally digital card.
I have used images and DP from the new Shawn Jenkins CD which you can buy here.
This is such a versatile CD with not just Christmas images but images for almost any occasion.  One I think you should definitely treat yourselves too!! Lol
.  So I used my Craft Artist Professional to make the card and the only images which didn't come from the CD are the snowflakes and baubles which were from one of the kits on the Craft Artist.

Please remember to stop by the rest of the Design Team and see their fabulous creations (links on the DT tab at the top of this page).  They have all worked really hard to offer you some inspiration, so please remember to leave them some love if you pay a visit.

Stop...... wait a minute Mr Postman!!

Hello folks,
Just popped in to remind you that you have about a week left to enter the current challenge over at Totally Tilda.
This time the challenge is:
GOING POSTAL FOR CHRISTMAS
So that means, Sweet Tilda, postmarks/postcards (or both) and a Christmas theme.
Easy right??
***
This time we are lucky to be sponsored by:
Prize on offer from The Ribbon Girl will either be:
a Ribbon Kit
or
a £10 voucher for the store.
So here is my midway creation for you.
I have used one of my most favourite Tildas for this card.  This was one of the first ones I used and I still love her today.  She is coloured with my Polychromo Pencils.
The background paper is once again from Nitwits at LOTV.
This postcard stamp is from Stampin Up and it is only thanks to my friend's terrible memory that I have it.  You know who you are!! ROFL
It is stamped using Adirondack Cranberry and then I used my stencil brush to add the same colour to the edges of the postcard and all over the image too.
I added a funky fibre bow across the top of the card and a few poinsettias and holly too.
So that's it folks, my midway reminder for the latest Totally Tilda challenge.
I do hope you get time to join in.

Right on to the new challenge.
The theme for this fortnight's challenge is:
GOING POSTAL FOR CHRISTMAS
Our last Going Postal challenge was so popular with you guys that we decided to do it again but with a Christmas theme this time.
So, as long as your creation features our sweet Tilda and some post marks/postcards or both then you will be in with a chance of winning!! Yay!
This time we are lucky to be sponsored by:
Prize on offer from The Ribbon Girl will either be:
a Ribbon Kit
or
a £10 voucher for the store.
So here is my creation for this challenge:
I used Ski Tilda from the Winter Wonderland collection for my card and coloured her with my pencils.
Those gorgeous papers are from Nitwits at LOTV - I just lurve these gorgeous papers.
They are such good quality and the designs are just stunning.
I have used a set of postal stamps which I bought specifically for this challenge but sadly I can't remember who they are by as I've taken them out of the packet! :(
All the papers and the image are backed on to Kraft card which I bought from the Papermill
The postage marks and the stamp are all stamped in Brushed Courduroy Distress Ink.
The gorgeous Happy Christmas ribbons is from Crafty Ribbons naturally and the sweet little star which I stamped with the same Distress ink and then added Glamour Dust to it.
I have also added Glamour dust to the snow on the ground and all over the skis too.
So there you have it my friends, my latest DT creation for Totally Tilda.
I do hope you get the time to join in our Going Postal For Christmas challenge and I can't wait to see all your beautiful creations.
