A sad farewell from Totally Tilda and her friends!!

Hello again my lovelies.
Well as you may have gathered from the title of my post today is the last post I shall do for the Totally Tilda and Friends challenge blog.
Due to a decline in entrant numbers Susie has decided that it is time to drop the curtain on our little show for the final time.
To say we are all sad to be finishing would be an understatement.
But you know what they say, all GOOD things must come to an end and today this is the case for us.
To finish on a high we have decided to make this last challenge:
ANYTHING GOES
Our sponsor for this last challenge is

http://www.simonsaysstamp.com/servlet/StoreFront

Simon Says Stamp

One Lucky Winner will receive a RANDOM ASSORTMENT of 3 full size
Premium Dye Ink Pads from Simon Says Stamp.
So, let's finish this off with a fantastic turnout and give the DT something to choose from for the Top 3 for this last challenge.
So to mark this sad day I have decided I must use a Tilda stamp.
I used Farewell Tilda (quite fitting I thought) and here she is.
Coloured with my Spectrum Noir pencils and a bit of cloud masking in the background.
The sentiment is computer generated.
The papers are from Nitwits @ Lili of the Valley and this pad is called One Birdie Lane
So here is Tilda waving goodbye.
Thank you to all those of you who have entered our challenges in the past and a huge big thank you to all our wonderful sponsors who have given some fabulous prizes.
So all it remains for me to do is say, please try and find the time to join in our last ever challenge and See you on the other side!!! Lol

Mid Month Inspiration

Hi all
Just popping in to give you a wee bit on inspiration for our current challenge at Through the Purple Haze.
The theme this month is:
Bright Colours
and our sponsor is the lovely:
So here I have used:
and here is what I made:
Coloured with my Polychromo pencils.
The backing paper is from a Lili of the Valley with Raspberry Road pad called Baskets and Bunnies.
I merged the digi with a toadstool image from Scrapper's Delight so she could actually sit on something. Lol
I am really pleased with the skin on this one.
What do you think?
Ribbon is from Crafty Ribbons
So I do hope you can join us in the second half of the month.

Gifts and Balloons for Tilda and Friends.

Hi all,
Back again with our next challenge at Totally Tilda & Friends.
Our challenge this time is:
GIFTS & BALLOONS
(YOU MUST USE BOTH ON YOUR CREATION!!)
Remember you can use any stamped image now rather than just Tilda, although you can still use the lovely Tilda if you want to.  The only thing we don't allow is digital images.

And once again our fabulous sponsor is:
gif maker
And the prize that the lovely Nicky is offering is:
So without further ado here is my offering for this challenge:

I used Tilda with Secret Gift for my card this time.
I know, I know it's a Tilda - just fitted the bill this time! Lol
She is coloured with my Spectrum Noir pencils.
I have placed her on one of my few remaining die cuts from the lovely Susie Sugar!
Now, the challenge is gifts and balloons - but it doesn't say what type of balloons so I have used a bit of artistic licence here and gone with hot air balloons - this balloon paper and the cloud paper is from a Nitwits at Lili of the Valley pad called Up, Up and Away. Lovely isn't it?
The Happy Birthday words are from Clarity Stamp, simply stamped in Black Archival ink and then cut to a tag shape, added a bit of bias binding ribbon, and inked around the edge with a Flexmarker.
And there you have it, my card for the Gifts & Balloons challenge.
I do hope you will get chance to pop in and join us this time, can't wait to see what you come up with.

Anything Goes at Crafting with an Attitude.

Hi all,
Thank you for your beautiful entries into last month's challenge.
You really love an Anything Goes challenge don't you?
Well, it's a good job, because the theme this month is........
ANYTHING GOES!
Our fabulous sponsor this month is

This is a new company for me, not worked with these images before but they are fabulous.
So I have used Fire Fairy on my card:
Fire Fairy Digital Stamp
and here is what I made:
The fabulous (challenging) image is coloured with my polychromo pencils. I have used about 12 different colours on here.
I added Glamour dust to the strands of pearls/gemstones and the long tendrils but I am not sure it shows up in the pic - never bloomin does!! Lol
I used a Clarity Stencil for this bit.  I sponged white ink through the stencil and then went over it with a dark purple and then again with the white.  I quite like the effect it has given.
The clouds were done with my Clarity Cloud Mask and using two different colours with sponges. I also added a moon to the clouds and tried to give it a bit of shadow on the left hand side.
I am really pleased with how this turned out and I hope you like it too.
Can't wait to see what fabulous creations you have to show us this month.

Bright Colours Only!

Hello lovely peeps.
Hope you enjoyed your Bank Holiday weekend (in the UK) and hope your Memorial Day was good in the US too!
So time for another challenge at Through the Purple Haze and this time the challenge is:
BRIGHT COLOURS ONLY
So you can make whatever you want, with whatever you want but you can only use bright colours.
Sounds easy enough don't you think??
Our sponsor for this challenge is the lovely
LACY SUNSHINE

We all had the opportunity to work with a few of Lacy's images and I chose:
Kenli Forget-me-nots
and this is what I made:
I have coloured the image with my polychromo pencils and I am really pleased with how it turned out. What do you think?
So the background papers are from a Nitwits at Lili of the Valley pad called One Birdie Lane.
If you haven't bought any of these papers you really should go take a look at them, they are such lovely quality paper - I have them all! (Ssshhh, don't tell anyone! Lol)
The lovely lace down the side and across the orange piece is from the lovely Brenda Exeter's Lovely lace and ribbon page on Facebook here. Again, a fabulous array of wonderful goodies to tempt you with.
The sentiment is from Clarity Stamp and you can find it here. I stamped it in first generation ink (Adirondack Sunset Orange) and then stamped it again as a shadow with second generation ink.  I really love that effect.
So there you go folks, can't wait to see your gloriously bright entries into this month's challenge.
Challenges:

Dr Digi off on Holiday!

Hi all
Time for our new challenge at Digi Galore.
For those of you who join in regularly we have had a bit of an update on the rules, so please make sure you stop by the Challenge blog and read up on the little new bits please.
Ta ever so.
So the new challenge is:
IT'S ALL ABOUT HIM!
Our sponsor for this challenge is:
Doctor Digi
For my card I used Summer holiday and this is what I made:
I printed the image out on to my card blank and worked the background out around it.
I also printed the image onto a piece of paper so that I could use it as a mask.
The main image is coloured with my polychromo pencils and the background is done using Clarity masks.
The little hare in the foreground is also a Clarity stamp as is the sentiment and the trees stamped in the foreground.
So did anyone spot my deliberate mistake??
Tell you what, leave me an answer in the comments and at the end of the month I will pick a random name from all the correct answers and send the winner a little prize.
So thanks for stopping by, remember to leave me your comment about what my mistake is and don't forget to enter this month's challenge too.
