I am 48 years old, married and have one daughter aged 20. Obviously at age 20 - she knows everything!! Still I'm sure I thought I knew it all at that age - didn't we all. Wouldn't it be nice to be 20 again but know everything we know now.
I have been crafting for about 20 years, starting with cross stitch as I wanted to do a sampler for when my baby was born. I think I eventually finished it when she was about three years old! LOL.
I did alot of cross stitching and enjoyed crocheting (there only ever being one stitch to drop) but then moved on to making cards as my daughter got a little older. I look back now at the cards I did then and if I'm honest - some of them are really bad. Still I guess we all have to start somewhere.
I am an avid fan of Clarity Stamps (http://www.claritystamp.co.uk/) and I wish I lived nearer to Barbara in Kent as I would love to do some of her workshops - maybe one day.
This card is one I have done very recently - and a complete copy of one that Barbara does in her DVD - but I'm quite proud of it - somehow my stamping never seems to come out as good as other people's but I was very happy with this one. Feel free to let me know what you think of it.
The other card (my first waterfall attempt) was made using images from http://www.craftsuprint.com/ and I really like this one too.
Anyway, enough rambling for now - looking forward to getting to know lots of folk!
